I have the digital and physical disc copy, also played it earlier when MS had the accidental release and it played very well. Can't wait.
I agree. seems odd, though because all The Rumors Before E3 was that the Neo was coming this year. Maybe, Sony went back and made some changes.

X1 does do 1080P native in games. Am I missing something..
The answer is simple. I have a day 1 X1 & love it, there is no reason for me to get the slim as I am fine with current size, not getting a 4K tv. If I did not have an X1 and wanted an X1, got a 4k tv, then I would get the slim, it is $299. The Scorpio is not coming out until the end of 2017, so enjoy the X1 until then. I plan to upgrade to the Scorpio, but until then the X1 is fine. Can't get any simpler than for a console only gamer.
I saw the demo and said WTF, that is not RE to me. I certainly don't want to play in first person view. Will have to see more about this one before final judgement.
My launch PS4 also sounds like a jet engine on some games, but I am not buying another just because of that.

I think it is more how lazy the devs are cause there is no way the X1/PS4 version should be about the same as the 360/PS3 version. These games are a quick lazy cash grab for Capcom nothing more which is why I am not rebuying, other than RE4 if it gets the RE/RE0 remaster treatment.
Not buying this again. Fine with 360 version. I am interested when RE4 will be released because the 360/PS3 port of the game wasn't good. Hoping a this gen port will clean up the visuals and run at 1080P.

My reasons for not upgrading at this moment: not interested in VR or 4K, and the only PS4 exclusives I am playing on the PS4 are Uncharted 4 & The Last Of Us, and they play fine on my current PS4.

That is funny cause I am playing more Xbox console exclusives than my PS4 which I am currently only playing Uncharted 4 on.

MS was clear the S is the exact same as the orig other than the UHD drive, HDR output, and I think the ability to upscale to 4k, other than that, the games will run the exact same as the orig. They did say as far as the Scorpio goes it is up to the devs to use the extra power like in pc games, as they wish, I am talking about single player.
