Yeah, I hate words like Xbotards, as most of us game on multiple consoles only have 1080p sets, not buying 4K sets, and not trying to spread misinformation, but trying to decide if it is worth dropping another $399. Besides, why would anyone want spread misinformation about vudeogame consoles?
Beginning to think the Pro may not have been a good idea. I think I may stick with the original.
All this hateraid going back and forth between the PC elites, Xbox fans and and PS fans sre hilarious. These are plastic boxes that many pledge allegiance to like it is the republicans vs democrats. Now I am not into PC gaming but I do game on the consoles. Just so much better to enjoy what everyone brings to the table instead of having to jump on one side or the other.
It is Nintendo doing their own thing. It doesn't matter when the NX releases it is clear the console, hybrid is no direct competitor to MS or Sony, so I say it really doesn't matter when the NX comes.
I say no, Sony made the console they wanted. We can woulda coulda shoulda everything in life. No, they made the console they wanted, and it was important enough to them that they release it in 2016. End of discussion. Sony knows how to run the Playstation division. I and most are not qualified to question that.
This article is nonsense. I love my 1S, I also have the X1 and PS4 launch models which I am trading in for a Pro. It isn't useless to this console only gamer.
Well good, are there different prices for PC games?
Which one should you buy? Is this a joke? If you want the best PS4 which plays your games with the crispest visuals best framerates, whether you got a 4K TV or not, it is simple, get the Pro. I have a launch PS4 and this is a no brainer. I don't game on PCs so my launch X1 and PS4 are getting traded in for the Pro.
That is what I was saying, before Aenea, responded, .3 makes little difference when compared to the 4.2 Tflops Pro, which was my whole point.
As far as Sony not including a UHD drive. It may be a good thing, as why drive up your cost when physical media sales are declining, and why put the drive in their gaming console when it may compete with their standalone 4k player. Maybe, Sony is looking at the bigger picture.
Really, .3 made very little difference, lol..
@Aenea. .3 or .4 makes little difference when compared to the 4.2 Tflops of the Pro. That was my point. Not how it compares to the orig PS4.
Doesn't seem pointless to me. Some have been whining since jump about the PS4 X1 not being powerful enough. Sony corrects that over the original and some are still whining. Are you kidding me?
So, this is how it is going to go from here on out. The X1 compared to the Pro. I am more concerned how the PS4 Pro enabled copy compares to the PC version, 4.2Tflops, 36 compute units compared to the X1 doesn't seem that fair to me but maybe I am looking at this wrong.
The Pro is 4.2 Tflops, the 1S is 1. or 1.3 at best. That is a nice difference by my math. Why is this comparing the Pro to the 1S? Clearly interms of graphical capabilities the Pro is ahead of the 1S which is an X1 with HDR, and 4K movies, vids, and 4K upscaling for games. The Pro should be compared to a similarly spec PC, or the Scorpio not the 1S.
The Pro should be able to cleanup framerates, and res issues in some PS4 games with its overclocked cpu, and double graphi...
I barely play the current PS4 so I doubt I will be buying the Pro, fine with the current PS4.
Well, I get Nintendo makes handhelds but if you are not not into the DS or 3DS, and with the Wiiu with little to no support, it is easy to see why I did not know the directs were still done.
What about the NX? Isn't that something to get excited about?
I did not know Nintendo was still doing the directs given that most have given up on the Wiiu
Most gave up on it some time ago
I am calling it right now. Given all the rumors, the NX hybrid console will use at minimum 32GB carts. Common sense tells me a portable system has to use carts, memsticks or sd cards in this day an age.
I agree. I first thought the Pro was a good idea, but not now.
