Plus, why not buy games that work better when they cost $20-$25. Just build a nice backlog and get through them for half the cost. @Slysouls CDprojektred, I'd buy from full price, good devs like that.
I dig it. Bought a bud a copy for $25 bucks, he digs it. Just a unique game, worth $25 bucks to veg for awhile.
Breaks silence, lol. Sean Murray had a dream of what this game would be, same dreams of "Star Voyager" NES as a little guy. They delivered less than half by deadline and the internet nailed them for it. Ambitioun and a number of his comments were out there and I'm sure he learned a good life lesson from talking too much. Yet his compulsion, drive or insanity (choose) kept them updating. I think NMS will be an ongoing and ever expanding project for years to come backed by a nuts ...
Yeah? Awesome! I went with Amazon because I have reward points and just picked up a digital copy for my bud. Finally can play online in some way at least. This is only going to get better.
Yes! Been waiting to see how low we can go. Still on the fence with X1X or PC upgrade. Doesn't help that we still can't preorder the console yet of course.
Amazon just reduced the price of No Man Sky digital code to $23.99 down from $60. This is most definately a game that needs to be ready to go at all times, no disc required. https://www.amazon.com/No-M...

Same respect my I7 6400 CPU will be a good gaming core for a long time to come. I'm considering now whether to drop the cash on the X1X, or pickup a GTX 1080 on sale for the same or less. Upgrading from a GTX 970. Those "play anywhere" with xbox live crossplay exclusive titles work pretty well.
I love Witcher 3 for the graphics, atmosphere, lore, complex crafting and exploration. Horizon is just amazing but wish the crafting and mods were more in depth but I can forgive it because the combat system is just epic. Slow mo sliding under robo dino's with a bow & arrow, I mean c'mon that's just f'n cool. I'd have to say for people who prefer complex RPG mechanics, go Witcher 3 while Horizon is more action based and is like RPG light. Own both!
I've done everything in Witcher 3 then saved sitting in a boat and waiting at end game. Then it's onto the expansions after the PS4 Pro patch comes out this fall. CDProjekt Red confirmed this last month for both PS4 Pro and X1X. Can't wait!
Hahahah, wow guys and girls; a number of downs. It really doesn't matter too much becuase we're on a wacky forum but really though. Isn't anyone else annoyed 30FPS in late 2017? We as gamers require and appreciate innovation. Better ways of doing things is quite frankly, everything gaming stands for. The rest follow, we get a few new flavors but ultimately we need thinking producers. Seriously. Did anyone watch the E3 interviews like.. Uh... yeah.. 30 frames, just couldn't do...
You're right, that is exactly what they said. Yet there are a number of games that can reach 60FPS on current hardware. Anyway, just for gaming sake; this was a pretty solid look into Warframe which I mentioned before. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
A friend and I gave the Destiny 2 Beta a number of runs on PS4 Pro and I'm just not convinced Bungie is going to deliver content wise. They have already made some really odd decisions cross platform and the performance cap at 30FPS for consoles is a giant mistake. Pro and X1S should be able to push that game to 60FPS with checkboard to 4K. Hell the recently confirmed recommended settings on PC are a low end I5 with a GTX 970. This game is being gimped for console because of the other &quo...
Except I'm shareplaying with a good bud from Florida to New York like no perceivable lag passing controllers and sometimes tonight together on fighting games like MKX. Arrogance. They have their shit down and know it. I own them all, PS4 so far won this gen.
Raytracing. Damn right.
Nope, but we'd see the best damn video games running at 4K 60FPS.. as advertised but not really delivered on both systems to date. The engines just aren't there yet, maybe 5 years?
Show me a game today that looks and runs like Final Fantasy The Spirits Within (2001) https://www.youtube.com/wat... That was far from photorealisim 16 years ago, but shiat it'd be a damn wild game in ...
It's not $500 it's like $730 or so with essential accessories plus a game & access and I really don't think the difference will be dramatic until a year or more. My point was it sounds like a good system, but exclusives are necessary to succeed and all we have is talk without gameplay as in the article. That means it's going to take awhile.
The more I read these articles and comments, the more I am convinced we're not going to see any AAA exclusive titles for at least a year after launch. Forza excluded. I am a PS4 Pro owner and reluctantly learned to love it, it is awesome. I also just recently picked up an X1S for $199 and have been seriously enjoying Halo 5 but E3 really didn't show anything great outside of mult platform games. An there won't be much of a difference in performance between the Pro and X1X for thos...
Unless PS4 Pro comes down to $329. The difference won't be so staggering vs. the exclusives available and for that price, forget about it. It's not enough to satisfy the die hard Xbox fans out there which is roughly half as many PS4 owners. MS needs to start taking back market share and they'll only do it with great AAA exclusives. That being said, probably picking an X1X just after the holiday. Give them a chance to release a few games and work out the kinks.
I still have my preorder for this, but after playing the beta, what they did to the specials, ammo and cool downs. I'm not very hopeful. I think we all must admit the way they handled Destiny 1 was pretty shiat but they definitely have some great PVE and art direction at work, D1 and D2 have a certain quality in that respect.
Still after 2 or 3 weeks playing Warframe, I'm not really sure how I'm going to be able to dumb it down to D2 in a few weeks. Guess we'...
