No, removal of the otherOS didn't free any SPU's. Sorry buddy. It was not being run at all during game playing.

HSx9: Congrads for being a total a**hole. I'm sure you have a hard-on from just reading inflammatory comments, as you prove to yourself how important you are!

Lol at the agrees for "3d rendering".

Guys, 3d rendering doesn't require extra space, just extra processing power.

However, 3d videos can add to the size, 70 minutes of cut-scenes, some of which will be as videos, can add to the size.

What Thor said.

Guys, it is not wise to have uncompressed streaming data on Bluray. It just wouldn't be fast enough to stream uncompressed texture data. It has to stream animation data, vertex data, audio along with textures Also it is not wise to fill the GPU mem with uncompressed textures. If they are filling the GPU with lossless textures, they are not leaving space for lots of others which doesn't make sense, because compressed textures look the part, even bette...

Move support wouldn't even increase the size by a few megabytes. As for 3d support, same goes for it, as game assets can be lowered in quality during runtime, I don't think they'd have the lower quality art doubled on the disk. However 3d would increase size for videos: I think the 70 minutes of cutscenes, some of which are probably 3d video files, and with all the voicework, are taking up the space on the disk.

The economy in this game kills it for me. I'm an average player with around 1.40 kill/death., and I can very rarely get the taste of better gun, once every 10 respawns or so. If you spend a single dime on anything on respawn, you cannot accumulate money. I was an adamant supporter of this game but now I think it is a waste of effort. The economy and the connection issues put me off from this game.

Dieing with 2100 in your wallet, having killed 3-4 people, leaves you the...

How to make Sorcery a success:

Market the hell out of it! (How about a "coincidental" release of it during a Harry Potter release? :D )

He is actually quite fond of KZ2, and he is hyped for KZ3. He is not moaning about the game, he is moaning about Sony pushing this as a beta, claiming it is a demo. He is wrong, in this, but he likes KZ :)

I couldn't play it with Move :( Went back to DS3. I have high hopes about KZ3 tho. From iwaggle's tests, it looks very nice.

This game costs less than Battlefield Vietnam pack, and it does have some things going for it. I bought it without even bothering to try a demo to support the guys that made it, and I don't regret it.

Some Sony loyals would even sit on a vibrating stick if Sony told them to. Are you guys blind? This is another thing that hurts legitimate buyers in some way. Since when disk checks stopped piracy?

If we support cheap games, more games will be sold at this price tag. If we don't, we'll keep on seeing more games at 14.99. (Super stardust was 9.99 when it launched. Would they sell it for 9.99 if they released it today? No, they'd go for higher. I see an upwards trend towards 14.99 as an avarage downloadable game price.)

I wish Sony had 4x blurays in PS3's. Games tailored to PS3 obviously does really well in avoiding installs (for western developers, of course).. But, obviously japanese developers are behind (MGS4 was ATROCIOUS in the installation scheme, it lost me so much time when we constantly had to switch levels because my brother was playing a different level), and GT5's install was not favorable), and multiplatform titles are having a hard time with bluray speeds.

All they needed was to timestamp encode the save files. They didn't. If I understood correctly, this doesn't have much to the with modded ps3. Why lie about it?

@vickers: Just as selling your game disc is not exactly like piracy, piracy is not exactly like stealing. So we at least should agree on those parts! My walls of text originated from the fact that you stated viewing a movie at a friend's house is exactly piracy :)

Thanks for the discussion, I see your points.

Looks superb. The dynamic deadzone is VERY clever. I hope one day this move FPS mechanics are refined to the point that it is the same for every FPS (of course with customization for individual tastes) , that would be super good.
