Looking at the screenshots, some people dared believe Killzone 3 was better. Yes, it happened, only on N4G.
Why is Sony afraid of widespread dissemination of Move? They should open it to PC development.
You are forgetting: 40 / 60 player maps REQUIRE dedicated servers. 16 player maps can be done p2p. It may be Sony's decision to support the game with dedicated servers or not.
CODs will still sell gazillions, although Battlefields will continue to be the better games.
The marksman and assault rifle problem seems to be an important one, just like the ridiculously overpowered assault class in KZ2. (heavy weapon+full health recovery+fastest player)
Can talk about the others, but the two things to fix as in "remove move support and 3d" are very much delusional. Especially the reasoning behind removing move, "because no serious gamer would use it". (I'd understand if he'd go for gameplay imbalance, even that would ...
60fps.. It is pushing double the frames of the "graphic" kings. See it in motion.
PSN is provided by Sony, and it should be able to service it to PS3's that meets its criteria, other than that, you should be able to do anything with your PS3 without breaking the law, without being connected to PSN.
I guess all these trophy hacks and online game hacks are the consumer's rights! Since modded PS3's cannot be guaranteed not to take part in these activities, they should be banned from PSN once and forever.
Agreed, and, there are certain rules to be met to drive on a public road (PSN), so no, their analogy to use cars to defend themselves is not correct.
You can't race a modified car on a stock car race. Stock car race would be the PSN. Sony's rules.
However, you should be able to add a hole to your car, place a silicone reproductive organ, screw it all day long in your garage. I just don't want to see that on a public parking lot.
I'm in the camp who thinks that you should be allowed to do anything you want with it without breaking the copyright laws, but Sony should have the right to choose to service PSN to the ps3's that meets its criteria (un-modded, non-custom firmware)
So no, you shouldn't be able to place a 10 billion lux head-light on your car, and drive it on a public road. Sure, it would light up the entire horizon for you, but the drivers on the opposite lane won't see a da...

I don't even have xbox, Uncharted 1 and 2 are my most favourite games, and they do look the best among the current gen games. That doesn't change the fact that RSX is inferior to Xenos, which is hindering the quality of multiplatform games, because multiplatform devs cannot cater specifically to the Ps3's architecture.
I don't feel pity for Ps3 users, I am a ps3 user and I get the best possible games I want. This pixel counting ...
But BeaArthur, as you know, the average gamer pauses the game, gets a screen-dump, loads the image on an editor, and starts counting the pixels for duplicate ones.
We should demand a refund for every pixel duplicated on screen. I pay money to a game and I want every pixel to be unique!
Games are good when you pause them, and carefully look at the screen from 10 inches. That's the only way gamers enjoy their games, I guess.

The difference is not all that much. Why belittle a good job? PS3 version looks similar to other versions, and it plays the same. I think calling it the inferior version would not be fair.
Wow, you mean, in only one hour, Xbox users will be subjected to 9,953,280,000 more pixels than the PS3! (92160 * 30 * 60 * 60) And that will make the game much more awesome! Imagine what you can do with all those pixels!

That said, if it was the other case, people would brag about how PS3 is so much stronger than the Xbox.
Guys, can't you find some middle ground? 10% pixel count is not much of a difference. Still, Xbox has a sup...
What ivant is saying is not irrational at all. Sony did have prototypes or patents for detachable two handed controllers that would work as motion controllers, it could easily mimic the sixaxis/dualshock that way..
Here's the actual patent:

I would have hoped this is would be the move. It does look strange, but it is open for refin...
Adding 3d support may work two ways:
1) It may result in tighter resource control and more optimized code, resulting better 2d performance (read, 2d), and things like split screen (although split-screen is not guaranteed, especially for sandbox games, as two very different portions of the game would need to be streamed), this is the cool possibility.
2) It may result in restrictions of game design, worsen even the 2d experience. This is the bad possibilit...
What is the purpose of the massive spoiler? Does their "journalistic" status allow such nonsense?
I need some deadzone settings for my pedals, dammit :\
"You cannot use the PlayStation Network with this account"
I was hoping it would be:
"You cannot use the PlayStation Network with this Ps3"
If Sony was the least bit clever, Sony would leak Killzone themselves and brick the systems playing it right before the end credits with a bang. Of course, it shouldn't admit to it.. But if I was Sony, that's what I would do. Make KZ3 the final game played on a jailbroken PS3.
I don't like the static spawns. People don't like spawn bombs, but they were better than this.
The alternative which could make the game more dynamic and balanced would be the ability to spawn on tactician's position, a bit like spawn on squad mate but limited to tacticians, and tacticians could get points if they got to spawn people near objective areas etc.
Another problem I've noticed is, once the game is dominated by a team, because of...
