Can playstation 3 outsell xbox360 NEXT generation? :)
Title doesn't make sense with console version numbers.
I'm sorry, but I thought bluffing involved in telling that you have something / will do something all the while you don't have that something / won't do that something.
It could be called de-bluffing at best, no? Or maybe nega-bluffing..
Sounds like a commercial for R3!
Ok, I'm Turkish, that's characters from a popular Turkish TV show which also spawned a few movies. But the photoshop work is done by Iraqis, the language on the poster isn't Turkish, which leads me to believe the distributor of the movie or the channel that shows the series has done this, unrelated to the original producers of the series.
Strange enough, COD4, 5, 6 didn't employ any sorf of online pass, yet they could still fight their way up to top ten charts more than a year after their initial release.
I don't really dig this Online Pass system, although I buy my games new 95% of the time.
More like x-ray vision?
I must admit, I HATE the lack of head-bob. They at least include it while running, but there should at least be a slight head-bob when walking, it looks and feels much nicer that way. It seems like a floating gun, like this, or as if you are on a hovercraft.
I hope they make it optional to have it. (I'm sure there are people who don't like head-bob, tho)
The delusional corporate greed sees no boundaries. They seriously think of removing analogue support for content, as if the problem is recording analogue video. They are restricting customers YET again (the whole industry, not just sony)
Bluray is already cracked, WTF is this protection for? Probably in preperation for the next format which they think won't be cracked, but it WILL be cracked. They are just restricting people again.. Shameless..
I could understand if they only removed support for games with dedicated servers, even then the decent thing would be to release server software, which I still wouldn't blame if they didn't. But removing support for peer to peer games, that's blasphemy. I'm guessing Madden was peer to peer. In a peer to peer game, the online servers only let players join each other, just act as a meeting place, and I think even IRC chat servers have quite load more than such servers.

I'm sure the online pass will increase people playing online /sarcasm.
@maniacmayhem:
"When the game drops to 30 and you pick it up then how do you think the multiplayer will be. More than likely it'll be a ghost town. Resistence doesnt have the legs that a CoD or BF does.
I'm afraid that when you wait down the line for the price to drop, everyone else will have moved on to the next fps."
So true, and thanks to this online pass, the servers will be deserted faster than previous resistance games. So, p...
"Technically, all Sony needs to do to make money on this is have 1 person buy a 1-use pass online."
Yes, technically. But businesses have to look a the overall picture. Now, imagine people who do not have a Playstation store in their country, and who cannot get their CC's to be accepted in a foreign store, they will be losing sales, no questions about it. Initial sales won't increase due to PSN pass, as people who want the game cheaper will just wait. To m...
This online pass will mean less people playing it online, over time. I'm willing to bet that, a game with an online pass would die sooner than a game without (unless it is COD or BF). Some games just cannot afford to do this. It doesn't seem like it is affecting the publisher, as the second hand sale wouldn't do them any good, and they'd have to keep servers running longer for a living franchise which has its cost. But keeping a franchise living long after the launch is good f...
I meant UC2 has more natural expressions.
I agree about the 'over expressive' faces of the UC3 mp beta. I think it is a bit exaggerated, the expressions look more natural in UC3. Not that it affects the multiplayer game one bit, but hey.
I'm affected less as I buy 90% of my games new. However, it sucks if my brother has to buy his own online pass to play online. That would suck big time.
Also, PSN pass means less people playing it online! It won't affect on launch, but people who play online would go down faster than without an online pass, am I wrong??
Less people will play online over time, and this will also hurt the online for new buyers of the game.
I can't wait for next gen, then. I'm an avid supporter of 60fps gaming. Everything looks so good in motion. Anybody who says they don't see the difference actually 'feels' it in a pleasing way, but can't tell exactly why.
Every other online pass doesn't work like that, unfortunately. I hope Sony's work like that, tho.
Does this mean different people in the same household would need to own a pass to play online using their own identity? If so, that sucks. Imagine having to buy an online pass for each of your kids to play LBP. If this is where the industry is heading, screw it.
I don't think the answer is platform specific, and this bit of information has 0 news value, it's just a minor technicality.
He doesn't say "We reuse the memory on PS3", he just says "We reuse the memory". The PS3 is wrongfully added as the question is PS3 specific, but the answer may not necessarily be PS3 specific.
This is just pushing the limits for news linking, trying to extract some value of a small tweet.
