but jaffe asking people to be more professional?
http://stupidevilbastard.co...
jaffe needs to take his own advice.
seriously though, with some of the dumbarse stuff he's come out with he's in a very poor position to talk.
when people ask, "can games be art?"
show them this.
i swear, you could take any screenshot from this game, frame it and hang it up on your wall and it would look good.
europe is getting it and the us isn't?
who are you and what have you done with the real nintendo?
really though, i am assuming the eu version will have english, so what this talk about not localising it?
its already localised.
nintendo can be so bloody boneheaded at times.
i mean, who region locks a handheld?
that's quite an achievement.
especially when both games are months away from release.
anyway, i'd be happy to see mw3 get some real competition, i don't believe one title dominating like the cod games have is good for the industry.
i don't want it to fail, well maybe a little >:) but having the industry dominated like this is just not good.
maybe they need to work out something with the stores, though why the gaming industry feels it needs special treatment i don't know.
but they really need to stay the fuck away from our rights.
apparently my comment was too long.
so it continues here.
it's funny, they go on about piracy, which is essence people not respecting their rights, how it's so bad for the industry.
and yeah, they're right, that's one thing i do agree with them on.
but they prove themselves to be self serving, hypocritical, lying sacks of shit when they don't respect ours.
is piracy in fact a just punishment for illegal drm?
...
i would absolutely argue one statement made in that article.
"Too many people are not getting what is rightfully theirs due to a flawed system"
what is rightfully theirs is what they get from every single copy of the game.
they get their fair share when the game is sold.
they make the game and they sell it, that's their business.
that's what every other media gets.
what we do with OUR PROPERTY, that w...
how much extra would i have to pay to get the card without the game? ^_^
i know ms are orgasming over kinect every five frakking minutes, but most gamers either don't give a shit or cannot stand the thing.
i was in the former camp, but after seeing fable viciously murdered on the alter of kinect, i'm definitely in the latter group now.
that's the kind of thing they worry about?
not a damn thing about people not being able to play their games when the network is down, or anything about the save game fiasco.
no, this is where they worry about the customers?
fuck you capcom.
since when has fox news had a valid viewpoint on anything?
the whole murdoch media empire exists to make murdoch richer and more powerful.
and as such, everything any part of it says should just be ignored.
or laughed at mockingly. ^_^
i vote that any news article that reports what these fuckbags are saying should be banned.
seriously, all it does is assist these losers in their epeen stroking.
the worst thing you can do to them, as far as they're concerned, is ignore them.
stop giving them the false impression that their sad little lives actually matter.
if this is accurate and they have effectively locked save games to a single user then i have to bring up my concern over the legality of this, and other drm systems.
we have a legal right to transfer ownership of any media we've bought, so long as we do it legally, some of those perfectly legal methods are selling the title on, or giving it away.
these systems are designed to take away that legal right, that is why i believe things like this are illegal. ...
but can you save over the data?
i've played more than a few ds games where you can't just overwrite a save if you started a new game, you have to delete the old save first, and it's only in small print in the corner of a page near the back of the manual that they actually tell you how to do that.
for example, the newer pokemon games, well heart gold at least, i haven't played black or white yet, wont let you overwrite the save if you start a new game, ...
that makes what ea AND nintendo are doing pretty shitty.
or should that be capcom who are to blame?
they have been selling on disc content as dlc, and they were totally unapologetic about the fact that people who bought their psn titles effectively have them stolen when they lose their network.
now i think about it, capcom would totaly fuck over their customers like that.
reminds me of 3d dot game heroes
not much use if you're playing in 3d though, i would imagine.
still, a neat idea though.
me: how bout you piss off ms.
hundreds of millions?
there's hyperbole and then there's just being stupid.
A hundred million, as in a single hundred million, there's a chance it might, i repeat, MIGHT, just be possible.
but hundreds, as in more than one?
no, no, no.
not even the gameboy or ds have managed that, the ds will probably reach a couple of hundred million, but there's no way the xbox will.
and really, did they have to word ...
i'm guessing the some of the work done for war for cybertron was able to be carried over, which results in what's looking like a far better game than the previous two.
with the previus titles the devs had to pretty much start from scratch, with theis the experience from WfC could have given them a bit of a head start.
i'd like to play this one, but after the first two, it's gonna have to be a try before i buy.
