unfortunately for them, the game is like a year and a half away, and everybody already knew about it.
i've defended molyneux time after time, but if he honestly thinks this is the future of the fable series, then he's finally gone off the deep end.
my only hope is this is being forced on him by ms and after this they'll let him make a proper fable game.
it's a new genre created just for kinect.
the wave em up.
the defining feature of this genre is the gameplay mainly consists of waving at the screen.
just watch all the videos of kinect games, look how much waving people do.
still, compared to this, fable 3 looks like a frakking masterpiece.
i know molyneux wanted to make fable more accessible, but making the game so you can play it just by waving at it is going too frakking far.
this is the exact same video they put out months ago.
look at the date of the video, it's from february.
Uploaded by XboxViewTV on Feb 2, 2011.
they still haven't shown how you actually play the game, i find that rather suspicious.
a game like kotor but telling the story of the yuuzhan vong invasion would be awesome.
and tell george to get that bleedin tv series going, apparently he's got fifty hours worth of it written up, how about we see it some time this millenium.
that IS NOT x-com, that is an fps that claims to be set in the same universe, though there is zero evidence of anything in any of what has been shown to link this game with the xcom titles, other than the title.
and giving a project a name doesn't mean that's what it will be, it didn't work for catwoman, and it's not working here.
and really, is this industry so creatively bankrupt that they can take a well respect strategy title like xcom and all they...
what do we know?
a xenomorph may be involved.
it's a bug hunt.
^_^
people who don't live in the us maybe?
they might disagree.
damn, i remember playing that on the amiga.
not the greatest game in the world these days, but it's still a fun little platformer.
either the right stick can simulate the face buttons or dpad for games that use those for the camera, or games can be coded to detect when they're running on ngp/vita and make use of the right stick.
or maybe both are possible, so you can play games that haven't been coded with the feature using the second stick.
simulating the face buttons with the right stick would work well for games like age of zombies.
the minis have been doing this for ages though.
you can get the same game on both machines and copy saves over and continue.
and the ps3 hd versions of psp games are supposed to be able to do that too.
maybe that's what he's talking about.
“We wanted to do something different”
so why'd you produce such a generic looking fps?
they said brink was gonna be something new and different, and well. o_O
you see how that turned out.
the biggest surprise from the sony conferences i can remember is gabe newell coming on stage, considering he was previously one of the biggest critics of the ps3.
at least that's my opinion.
yes, yes, yes, a thousand times yes.
"Michael Pachter knows something"
well, you've blown all your credibility right there, in the first sentence.
i've always opposed the way sony tried to control every little detail of how we use the products we buy off them, forcibly removing features was an act that disgusted me and i've spoken vocally about it many times.
but these hackers are just a fucking menace.
it's terrorism, that's what they're doing.
they're not just affecting sony with these actions.
there are innocent developers, not those arsholes capcom, fuck them, but smal...
because alarmingly, murdoch's media empire seems to be very influential.
all his so called news outlets do more to influence events rather than just report them.
that's annoying when it comes to gaming.
but when he's trying to influence the highest levels of government around the world, that is just horrifying.
there are douchebags on both sides.
youtube's good news, except knowing ms, you'll need to be a gold subscriber.
