what gets me is so many people seem to think they have any right to a cut of preowned sales.
when the fact is, they don't.
no industry does, at least i don't think so anyway.
why should gaming be a special case?
why should games publishers get more than their fair share?
their fair share being what they get when any copy is bought new.
that is all they're entitled to, these drm systems that lock entire games to a si...
the irony of any media outlet owned by murdoch having the gall to lecture anybody about morality?
still, hopefully that old scumbag's media empire is gonna come crashing down around him, and really i think he and his little shitstain of a son should do time.
what exactly is wrong with wearing glasses anyway?
from what i've read to make 3dtvs that use the polarized glasses like the cinema screens use it's a lot more expensive than the ones that use the lcd shutter glasses.
that's why most 3dtvs use than tech.
hopefully they can reduce the price of the polarisation tech so it can be made cost effective for home tvs.
because the glasses are lighter, though the newest lcd shutter glasses aren't that heavy these days, and they're a hell of a lot che...
i thought capcom were arseholes, but using a disaster that killed thousands as justification for screwing their customers.
that's just fucking pathetic.
lying is one thing, i expect that from a big company, but using this disaster as a cheap excuse, and a japanese company at that.
the poles have definitely shifted on capcom's moral compass, assuming they even have one to begin with.
because capcom said it's false?
and they'd never lie right?
i don't know if this is true or not, but i have no doubt this is something capcom would do.
they do just this sort of thing on their forums.
you question them and you get insulted and threatened.
so fuck capcom.
seriously, what is this phobia people have about wearing glasses?
what if your eyesight deteriorates and you need to wear glasses to see, are you going to walk around half blind?
are people aware of the challenges that 3d without glasses poses?
you have to deliver two separate images to two points a couple of inches apart at distances of six feet plus.
that's not to say that's not possible, because they can do that ri...
interesting concept, reminds me of those ads where they animate a character painted on a wall.
maybe they were the inspiration.
actually, they also have to answer to the customers, we have the money they want.
they should treat us with a bit of bloody respect if they want any of it.
we hold the reins not them, if this article reminds the players, and capcom, that fact, then i support it 100%
you're not bitter about the megaman thing by any chance? o_O
they're now effectively putting a price tag on the online portion of the game but they'll still shut down the servers when they feel like it.
gotta love ea.
is that why so many kinect games are on rails? or offer a limited selection of routes?
correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think there have been any kinect games that let you move wherever you want freely.
please, David, make the new Elite, then you can mess about with kinect.
i used to love those fighting fantasy books, so i'll definitely be giving this a look when it's released.
you know, for a communist country, they sure have embraced capitalism.
i don't play online much because there are just too many dickholes online.
people whose only idea of interacting with another human in a game is to try to shoot them in the head.
in fps parlance they get called team killers..
even in a friendly or co-op mode.
is volition think only having co-op in saints row 3 will mean the first thing many people do when they enter an online game will be anything other than trying to kil...
some tell marcus fenix, this guys been at his steroid stash.
still, makes the choice for who goes on the suicide mission all that easier. ^_^
the purpose is ensuring we never actually own the titles we buy.
that's why these publishers love services like onlive.
we don't even get a digital copy of the games with that, it's a perfect solution for the publishers.
seems like ownership of our purchases is going the way of the dodo.
at least that's the way the publishers are pushing.
i don't know why the games industry doesn't feel it has to respect the basics of commerce established over centuries.
those being they make something, then we buy and then we own it.
the gaming industry is becoming all about greed these days.
they keep pushing this greed above all else, including ...
i wonder if this one will actually see release in the uk.
they seemed too embarrassed to release the original two worlds 2.
yeah because shipping all those bits of data to australia will take months right?
wait, what?
