the game didn't just suck in comparison with ffvii, it sucked in comparison to other decent games.
the lead character was am miserable emo git, and you had to redo all the magic, and all the equipment every time you had one of those bloody stupid time jumps.
if they happened like twice in the game that would have been excusable
and you had to steal items or magic, think it was magic, from the enemies while you were fighting them, bloody annoying.

i had a perfectly usable os years ago on my amiga, that ran in a megabyte of ram.
now windows vista is like 13 gigs, don't know about 7 because i haven't got it, and they'll probably be up to 8 by the time i buy a new pc which will be the only time i'll get a new version of win...
i wouldn't want to see the death of pc gaming but it might almost be worth it to get rid of windows forever. :)
if you've got a 1000 psp and want to upgrade a go with a umd drive might be a good choice.
it has the tv output options and the ability to play games with a sixaxis, neither option is supported in my psp.
i have been saying they should do this for an age, i really hope this is true, because while i like to play the games on my psp, the analog nub really does suck, some games were virtually unplayable, take the tomb raider games, you need to make precision jumps but with the nub that was way more difficult than it should have been.
and playing the games with a proper pad with a proper analog stick on a big tv would be fantastic.
