So is there new enemies to fight? New weapons? Secrets to find that are meaningful like weapons or armour? Are the quests more than just fetching things (Chickens and chests) for faction points for cosmetics?
Legit questions. Wondering how the game has changed beyond fetch quests for faction points for cosmetics that have no impact on the game. I tried it no more than 12 months ago and it didn’t seem any different.
If what they’ve added is just talking to...
Unfortunately one of the most disappointing games i’ve ever played.
It only took a couple of hours before I realised there was just no reason to explore because the world was dead and empty. See a cool cave? No point going inside because there’s nothing in there.
Fetch quests and nothing else.
Easy mode in games doesn’t affect anyone negatively if done right. Extra health, disabled enemy features, more forgiving timing windows for things like parrying etc, give players the choice to play how they want. Why limit your player base who’ll buy your game by only having hard difficulty options? I’ve finished the Dark Souls series and just can’t be bothered with that difficult combat or trial and error anymore, so I didn’t bother with Sekiro. If it had easier options, I would have bought ...
Anything multiplayer I get on PS4 because far more people I know own a PS4 (PS4 sold a lot more than Xbox One, so makes sense).
I only get graphically intensive single player multiplatform games for Xbox One X like Witcher 3 for example. I also play a fair share of VR on my PS4, which Xbox doesn’t do.
As far as exclusives go, I played the absolute hell out of TLoU remastered, Uncharted 4, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man, God of War, D...
I’m not worried about the power either.
My Xbox One X plays multiplatform games nicer than my PS4 Pro. But I have played my PS4 and my upgrade to PS4 Pro a hell of a lot more than my Xbox One and my upgrade to Xbox One X simply because the PS4 exclusive games are much better than the Xbox One exclusive games (in my opinion).
I’ll still buy both next gen consoles, but I’m already disappointed Xbox won’t have any games designed specifically for their new ha...
I’ll be waiting for the next gen version even though I really want to play it.
I can imagine they don’t want to increase their base costs anymore than they already have to with new components. Makes sense from a business standpoint. Why would you increase your costs across your entire install base to cater to the few?
Maybe PS5 will have an optional attachment similar to what they just brought out for the DualShock 4? Maybe Xbox will do a new elite controller? I’m sure they’ve done their sums before they finalised their controller designs.
I think that looks beautiful. I love the 'futuristic' vibe and can't wait to see what the PS5 console looks like.
I'll be getting the PS5 and Xbox Series X on launch.
But... why? The major selling point of next gen is the speed, graphics, world building and potential for AI etc. I just can't see those things carrying over to the Switch for any TRUE next gen titles. It won't have the SSD, GPU or CPU to realize any of those things in meaningful ways.
The more indy stuff? Sure, but nothing truly next gen. While i was impressed with how they got The Witcher to play on a Switch, it's easily the worst way to play it.

You're kidding right? I'd much prefer they remaster this one. These days the controls feel clunky. A remaster with great graphics and re-tuned controls would be great.
I've got this. While it does improve antialising etc a bit (through post processing of the video signal) it's not like some night and day difference. I like playing games looking the best they can, so i don't regret getting it, but don't expect miracles.
Games. Its that simple.
I do enjoy my multiplatform games looking and running better on my Xbox One X, but as far as exclusives and my overall playing go, my PS4 Pro has been used a hell of a lot more than my Xbox.
I just prefer PS4 exclusives massively over the Xbox ones and that's why i would pick playstation over xbox going forward if i could only choose one (i'll end up buying both).
For me it's all personal preference ...
I kinda wish i'd never bought a Switch. I got in one Xmas as there just wasn't anything else i really wanted. Got it thinking 'At least i'll get to play Metroid 4 soon'. How mistaken i was. I enjoyed Zelda, but that's it. I'm just not into Nintendo franchises like Mario and Yoshi anymore now that i'm older. I don't enjoy overly Japanese style RPGs either. There's just nothing on the console for me unfortunately and this direct mini shows there's not...
Exactly why i own a OneX and PS4 Pro now and why i'll own a PS5 and Series X.
I get my multiplatform single player games on my OneX as they look and run better than on my PS4 Pro. But I still prefer my PS4 pro overall as their exclusives blow Xbox exclusives out of the water in my opinion. And their exclusives seem to take advantage of the hardware exceptionally well (such as Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War).
I'm excited to get both new consoles ...
Nintendo is honestly the least ‘consumer friendly’ of the big three and I’ve lost interest in them since the Wii. Loved them growing up as a kid, but quite dislike Nintendo now.
I bought animal crossing for my Wife and thought I’d give it a go. Once I found out I couldn't start my own island, I decided I just won’t bother playing it at all.
They could have easily had the option to start your own or play on the existing console island. Instead they jus...
Opinion pieces are pointless. Don't have them at all. Reviews etc fine. Opinions, no.
As someone who generally isn't into the Nintendo franchises anymore, to me it's always had a 'weak' line up, but that's just due to my personal tastes. I bought a Switch because i just love games consoles. Unfortunately i just don't play my Switch because most of the exclusives feel aimed at younger audiences (i'm just not into the art style or gameplay of Mario, Yoshi, Animal Crossing, Pokemon etc) and also i prefer to play games on a TV and most Switch games look...
I just didn't find the demo very exciting. The combat was pretty bland.
Is this a troll story?
I was on the Nintendo bandwagon through to the GameCube. Then they lost me because since the Wii came out as they didn’t have games I wanted to play anymore as I’d ‘grown up’.
PS2 started to sucker me into Sony, but it was the PS3 that made me really like Sony with the exclusive games they had. I played my Xbox 360 quite a bit, but Xbox exclusives didn’t entice me like PS3 exclusives did.
PS4 and Xbox One was a one sided battle as far as exclusives for me...
