I feel like his games have become more and more ridiculous and convoluted as they've evolved, but he's done some great work too.
Metal Gear Solid on PS1 was brilliant.
MSG2 had great game play, but the story started going a bit silly.
MGS4 had some amazing game play sequences, but again story was over the top.
MGS5 was incredibly boring and i stopped playing after a few hours. Massive let down of a game.
Death Strandi...
Personal choice obviously, but i can't agree with this. I have a PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and a Switch.
Keep in mind i am an adult gamer.
My PS4 gets played 80% of the time. The best exclusives in my opinion.
My Xbox One X i buy some of the multiplatform single player games for slightly better graphics / performance. Play it like 15% of the time.
My Switch generally gathers dust. I play it maybe 5% of the time (that...
I have all three current consoles and play on a 4K HDR monitor.
PS4 Pro i play a vast majority as it has much better exclusives in my opinion.
Xbox One X i buy some single player games on over my PS4 Pro for slightly better graphics/performance.
My Switch gathers dust as it just doesn't have the games i want to play.
D3 will be a complete free to play game with battle passes and micro transactions or it will be a subscription based game with monthly fee.
Not a fan of that direction at all.
I got kinda sick of games that were hard for the sake of being hard after getting through the dark souls series. I couldn’t get through The Surge or Sekiro before I got bored of repeating areas/bosses multiple times to learn them.
How does this game compare? Am I likely to get sick of this one too?
Certainly it’s about the games, not the power.
But... as someone who generally enjoys larger AAA western style games that are catered more to older players, my Switch gathers dust. I’ve enjoyed Zelda, but that’s about it.
It’s certainly not the hardware for me in this case (although I so wish I could play Zelda at 1080p with antialiasing as I don’t think it looks very good currently), Nintendo just doesn’t really make games I enjoy now that I’m older. I’m...
I was a huge Nintendo fan through NES, SNES, N64 and GameCube. GameCube had some brilliant games (as did N64) and felt like a step forward in the types of game titles Nintendo would have on consoles.
Wii felt like a step backwards in terms of types of games. Lots of shovelware. I got sick of motion controls quickly. It was a gimmick. I played my Xbox 360 and PS3 way more.
WiiU just didn’t have the games. Nintendo really lost me here. PlayStation became m...
For me it was a barren, lifeless game. All the quests felt exactly the same. If you found a cool looking cave, you soon realised there wouldn’t be anything cool inside. Empty, motionless, bland. Tried an update a month or so ago and it felt the same.
I will say the art style was lovely though and the ocean looked amazing. It just didn’t have anything else to keep me playing it beyond maybe 10 hours.
Yes. And they prey on young, impressionable minds.
I don’t actually think collector card packs etc are good either in case you wondered. Reinforces a gambling mindset in young kids.
I tried the demo and thought is was interesting... for 5 minutes.
Just give me a powerful dock that ups the GPU/RAM power when the unit is docked. Something that means a game like Zelda can actually have antialiasing instead of horribly jagged graphics. I want full, sharp 1080p resolution when docked. Also ability to plug an external hard drive into the more powerful dock.
I’d but that upgrade.
So worth a go? I tried it last year and thought it was awful. Looked pretty and sailing was nice, but there was nothing to do. If you came across a cool cave, you knew there wouldn’t be anything to find inside, nothing to find or collect. Just felt like a very light sailing simulator.
I haven’t even watched TLJ a second time. Gave all my Star Wars collectables to a friend who sold them for me a a toy fair. I’m done with the movies, I just have no interest anymore.
Despised TLJ. Lost all interest in the movies because I hated it so much. Didn’t see Solo. Won’t be going to see Ep 9. Still have some interest in new Star Wars games though, so I hope this game turns out well.
I haven’t quit, I just stopped playing as there wasn’t enough content. I’d come back for new interesting content.
I enjoyed the gameplay, but there aren’t enough environments, enemies, varied loot drops or customisation.
Why would you buy a One X and Pro if you don’t give a shit about visuals? Caring about visuals is EXACTLY why I upgraded to a One X and Pro.
Well that’s no surprise. Isn’t the new IPad more powerful than the Switch? Weak hardware power wise, so of course it won’t look amazing.
I hope rumours of a more powerful switch are true. Would love to play Zelda on a tv without the game having more jaggies than an N64 game.
Oh I’m sorry GAMES MASTER. These sorts of changes have been added to games before and will be added in the future. Stop kidding yourself.
And honestly, I have no interest in playing the game. I got bored of this genre after finishing Dark souls 3. But I see perfectly how and why people want an easy mode.
And this is where the elitist attitude shows through perfectly. It WOULD NOT AFFECT YOU if that mode was added. You have zero good arguments against it as that experience for someone else would not affect your experience in ANY WAY.
Stop hiding behind a shitty elitist attitude.
After playing MGS 5, i'd believe this score could be their real opinion. I really enjoyed MGS, MGS 2 and MGS 4, but MGS 5 i found so incredibly boring and slow. I got through maybe 6 hours and just deleted it. I could not understand how people gave that game 10/10. From what i played i would have given it a 5/10.
Considering there is a part in DS where you wade through a snow storm for 45 minutes, i can't imagine i'd enjoy the game at all.
