Keep in mind here you people are whinging I’m saying I hope it sells less copies for purposely making it harder just to piss people off. So doing it to piss people off is fine, but me saying I hope it fails for doing that makes me wrong. Hypocrites.
Does an SSS combo in DMC5 cure cancer or something does it?
If easy mode is added after the ‘vision’ of the game is complete (in a manner like I suggested) it’s ridiculous to say it somehow ‘affects everyone’.
Completely agree, remove trophies and then there’s zero argument.
I’m not a huge ‘hard mode’ gamer, but I got through Dark Souls 3 and could not give a crap if someone else did it on an easier mode with more health, less damage and bigger windows for blocking and dodging.
Elitist attitude ...
I hope they do too and it sells less copies.
Easy mode - Increases window timing for parry and dodge. Increases damage dealt to enemies. Reduces damage received from enemies. Problem solved.
Stop lying that ‘it would affect everyone’. Just admit you’re an elitist who gets personal joy out of the game being too hard for some people. Just be honest about your shitty attitude.
Having said that, the developer has no obligation to add an easy mode, even though it would probably expand the player base of ...
The hardware is so incredibly weak, I can only imagine how bad the game would look rendering it twice for VR.
And again, making it easier for someone else via an ‘easy mode’ that included a larger window for parrying, more health, do more damage etc would not affect your enjoyment of the game playing on regular difficulty or higher in any way, shape or form. Especially if easy mode cut out the ability for trophies etc.
Stop being an elitist asshat. Just admit you get personal enjoyment out of some people finding the game too hard because you’re a horrible person.
...
I enjoyed beating dark souls 3, but I just don’t have the patience for these games anymore. 3 deaths in the one area or to the same boss and I’m bored.
You have AIDS, don’t you?
Who sensors these comments? Some snowflake? A lot have been deleted.
I can’t agree with this. Switch is basically a handheld (like the original gameboy that came out in 1989) that can output to a TV.
No thanks, I like higher end graphics and performance and don’t want that dumbed down when I play on a monitor/tv. Zelda looks a blocky mess on a TV (looks good on the small Switch screen). It badly needs antialiasing.
Not unless the console includes a dock that massively increases power and performance when docked. Then I’d be fine with it.
I can’t see how adding a mode where you had a more forgiving parry window, did more damage and had more health would affect anyone else playing the game on the regular mode, especially being a single player game. Doesn’t actually have to change the developer’s vision at all. Maybe they’re worried that an easier time with the game would start to highlight inadequacies in their game because it relies so much on being ‘tough’.
But hey, if they’re happy to narrow their audienc...
Oh get fucked wanker.
Exactly. A couple of my friends won’t buy the game because they don’t like difficult games. An easy mode wouldn’t stop hardcore players playing the normal/hard mode and it might sell more copies to those who don’t like hard games.
Imagine having an easy mode (that no one was forced to use if they didn’t want to) that made your game more accessible to more people, hence selling more copies.
What a ridiculous idea.
🙄
It would in no way ruin your experience if others could play an easy mode if you didn’t have to play on the easy mode.
To say it does only shows you’re actually just a horrible person who gets joy out of others not having fun. There’s literally no other reason to say there shouldn’t be an easy mode.
If anything more people who’ll skip the game may have an interest if they knew they didn’t have to sweat through the game.
I finished dark ...
As long as you mean simpler, lower graphical or indie type games (not that that’s a bad thing if you like those games). If you want to play the big AAA multiplatform new games, absolutely not.
Hope the rumours of a more powerful switch coming are true. I’d love to play Zelda without it looking like a blocky mess (I play games on a monitor up close, not handheld).
Just give me wind waker/twilight princess/skyward sword (without motion controls) remasters and Metroid prime trilogy remaster.
Nah, an elitist attitude is an asshole attitude.
