Agreed!
Neither console is going to blow cold air out. They will both expel fairly hot air and will be warm to touch.
external SSDs for game storage and swapping will be the way to go for me. I don't play more than about 3 or 4 games at a time anyway.
I'm very sceptical we will see a lot of games to the quality of the top Playstation exclusives coming from Microsoft studios if the plan is they just go straight to gamepass. Making 100 million dollar games and those games going to gamepass does not seem sustainable long term... unless you aren't making very many of them.
I play games to relax, so I generally skip games that only have difficult modes. Shame, because there are a few i'd play otherwise. They're just missing out on my money.
But no resolution upscaling for old games unless they specifically had a patch to do so. That's really disappointing.
But old games that didn't get One X Enhanced patches don't get any sort of resolution upscaling. How disappointing.
As someone who had a PS4 and Xbox One this whole gen, i've never been more disappointed in a system for an entire generation than Xbox One. Quite a few of these games listed aren't first party games. I really hope they turn things around games wise. Gamepass is cool, but when there's nothing on there i want to play, it doesn't make it a very good service.
Unfortunately it looks like it will be at least a couple of years before Series X has any decent first p...
I'll probably play in 30fps mode then.
I just want to know if the 60 fps mode still has ray tracing. I watched the video and i'm not 100% sure they weren't just screen space reflections. I'm sure it'll pretty much look 4K anyway as Insomniac's temporal injection technique is amazing, but would like a few more details on the performance mode.
Because it will EVENTUALLY have good games and I was able to get it on All Access, so I can quietly pay it off while it sits there. Also, yes, I do want to put it on display haha.
I'll say 'Yay, finally something to play on my Series X that's been gathering dust'.
I own a One X and a PS4 Pro. I've pre ordered a Series X and a PS5. I love gaming. But Xbox having ZERO launch exclusives and nothing of interest on the near horizon is not a good thing.
Yeah, will be great.... in a few YEARS when these games start coming out.
It really doesn't matter to me. I want new games for new hardware.
Not 360 games
No Mercy was the best wrestling game ever made. If it follows in those footsteps, i'm excited!
Considering games load incredibly quickly on the new consoles, i think this feature is being a bit overhyped.
Yeah i understand, it just doesn't have the 'wow factor' i was looking for with the hype for backwards compatibility they were pushing. If i can't play a game like Dead Space with upscaled resolution, then i've kind of lost any interest in the backwards compatibility. Improved frame rate in a small number of games just isn't enough of an incentive for me to care about their backwards compatibility.
I'm quite disappointed at no resolution bumps. Just because and old game might now play at 60fps, doesn't mean i want to put up with old jaggy graphics. Bummer.
This is a joke post yeah?
