Honestly, by the end of the game, i felt more sympathetic to Abby than i did to Ellie having seen both sides of the story. These are two sides the two characters don't see of each other, so they wouldn't understand the other's troubles.
I found it a really engaging story that fit the world they are in. I think the game could have been trimmed in places and i also think it would have been better to chop and change back and forth between Ellie and Abby instead of ...
My Switch gathers dust. If my wife didn't play it occasionally, i'd sell it. I'm only interested in Zelda and Metroid as far as Nintendo franchises go. For multi platform games, Switch is the worst version of those games to play.
They lost me after the gamcube. Just headed towards experiences i'm not interested in.
Yeah I actually get a bit sick of games always giving choice these days. I like breaking that up with an experience like this where they just tell the story they want to tell and you go along for the ride. 8 hours in and really enjoying it so far.
As soon as I see someone mention ‘woke’ or ‘SJW’ in regards to this game, honestly, I just disregard anything they have to say.
8 hours in. Love it so far. I appreciate these ‘slow burn’ games that break up what I’m used to in games.
Now come on, surely all these reviews are legitimate? More reviews in a few hours than the first game got in 7 years? Most be totally legit...
More ‘user’ reviews in a few hours than the first game got in 7 years? Yeah... I’m sure they’re all totally legit...
I’m 6 hours in. Agreed.
Loved the first game. Played it multiple times.
About 6 hours in. Loving the sequel.
To be honest, a lot of it feels like an overreaction to something that happens early or those who think even the slightest bit of diversity is pandering/SJW/woke.
If you’re giving this game a 3/10, you’re doing it for other reasons than ‘I didn’t like the story’. This game is on a technical level hardly seen in gaming.
I find it funny that within a few hours, the game got more reviews from supposed users than the first game got in 7 years. Stop lying to y...
About 5 hours in.
I love it.
And this is why PS5 exclusives have the highest potential for doing amazing things next gen.
Series X games will have to run on PC. This will hold them back from their full potential.
Totally agree. None of the Xbox franchises interest me anymore. I want to see new, exciting IPs from all the studios Xbox has bought.
It was a little long and a little slow, but I think it deserves more credit than it got. I still really enjoyed it and would gladly welcome a sequel.
I'll be buying both consoles regardless, but i'm really hoping for a huge boost in the exclusive games for Xbox based on them having bought all those developers.
I generally find the Xbox exclusives incredibly dull. Gears 4 and 5 and Halo 5 i couldn't get through more than a few hours before i moved on, but i played God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4 and Spider-Man thoroughly enjoying them from beginning to end. I've really only been using my Xbox O...
So if ‘next gen’ Xbox games will need to be able to be scaled to run on the Lockhart, I’m convinced that’ll hold back the game possibilities of Xbox next gen exclusives. Just as the first games of a generation are generally held back catering to last gen as well, that would seem to be the case for all of the next generation of Xbox games having to run on a 4TF Lockhart. I don’t see how that is a good thing?
PlayStation in my opinion has generally had the better exclusives. ...
Completely bizarre. The animation systems etc have barely improved since Morrowwind. Terrible engine by today's standards.
It is definitely a lot more interesting to play with human NPCs back. I've been having fun with the game after giving it up for 10 or so months.
It is still a buggy game with horrible pop in and bad animations, but at least it's fun now.
I still can't believe they are using this game engine for the next Elder Scrolls. What a bad idea.
This is my problem with Xbox Series X exclusives having to run on Xbox One X as well for the first year at least. Building a game to run on both systems at a core level is just going to hold those games back.
I don't think we'll see the truly amazing next gen games on PS5 or Series X for at least a couple years after launch.
You’re an idiot.
Funny how we all see stories and characters differently to each other. While i absolutely hated what they did with Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi, i thoroughly enjoyed TLOU2 and what they did with the characters.
