I think many from the Sony camp want Titanfall to come to PS4/3, simply to take away any "upper-hand" or "bragging rights" MS fans currently have in the "console war" due to MS having exclusive rights to a game that has received positive reviews, continued success, and growing popularity. I don't even think some of those who want this game on PS, even want to play it - they essentially just want the name/brand to not be exclusively tied to MS.

"Edit: Let's also not forget about the Ai in the game, and how the power of the cloud with 300,000 plus servers was supposed to give us some of the most advanced Ai and make the XBOX One 3-4 times more powerful."
- This was not the claim for this game. The claims concerning the AI and the cloud, were that the calculations for the ai would be handled via the cloud. MS cloud service would also be utilized for dedicated server suppor...
Not this double standard again...
$60 for SP only is fine.
$60 for MP only is unacceptable.
Considering that the MP game will likely offer a much higher replay value, (seeing as how they are designed to be played over and over again) I'd say people who opt to buy it are getting their money's worth.
I know I'm definitely in the minority, but I didn't like Dishonored really at all. I'm actually enjoying the new Thief game more than I enjoyed Dishonored. Dishonored reminded me of a gimmicky Thief - like Thief with magic tricks. It was hokey, and really took away from my experience.
At least in Thief, I can change the game mechanics to more or less behave like the original Thief games. Currently I'm playing with no focus, no lethal takedowns, and special ar...
I know this will probably blow you mind, but maybe many of those with XBL, don't see this as "disgusting" or "disgraceful." Besides, a regardless of the monetary value of a game or it's age, if a person never played it before, it is essentially brand new.
You know what could also be considered that - a company asking members to pay for a service that was once free.
I have a good bit of fun with the free games I got from GWG, and many of them are arcade games, games I couldn't rent/buy elsewhere. The best part is, they are mine to keep, regardless if I continue to have a gold account or not. I have a Gamefly account, so the free games aspect of PS+ has zero interest for me.
Was GWG a knee-jerk reaction? Perhaps, but the thing to consider is that they never even needed to implement it, since a good portion of Xbox players like XBl for...
@Illionaire
Of course you can claim many gamers don't care about the device, while also excluding that many do in fact like it. Of course you're going to hear "countless" claims of people not liking the Kinect online - this is how it always is. It's always the ones with the complaints or the disagree-ers with the loudest voices, regardless how many of them there are.
Go into any number of multiplayer games on Xbox One, and you will likel...
I always use headphones - high end audiophile headphones. I find them vastly better than anything speakers can offer me. Cans take up far less space, deliver sound directly to my ears, and I'm the only one who hears it, so no one else is disturbed. I will never go back to speakers again, just like I'll never go back to using a mouse after using a trackball.
I always found the co0nsole war so utterly pointless. Picking sides based on which platform you play video games on, and slinging insults at the competition? Are we 5?...
The console is worth what people are willing to pay for it - same with all goods.
"You say your not forced to use it, which is correct, so if I'm not forced to use it & I don't want it & have no use for it why should I have to pay for it..because you are paying for it as it's in the package."
- This is how cable TV works, and many people have it. When you pay for a cable package, it includes a set number of channels, and regardless if you want them all, watch them all, or even like them all, they are part of the package and yo...
"I tried it with Fifa 14 & it could hardly understand my voice as kinect is on the tv right on top of the speakers so it gets confused so easily."
- That would be what we call "human error."
In addition, your entire counter argument is based around using the device in one game....
"But I'm never going to play a Kinect only game, tried them, hate them, so why should I be forced to purchase it."
<...
Your terminology is incorrect. The term you are searching for is "newb," as in inexperienced, new players, which when Titanfall launches, even the most hardened FPS players, will be newbs at some level.
"Noobs" tend to be arrogant and claim to know a lot about a game, but often times do not. They can also have the mindset that if you aren't good at a game (or at least "good" in their eyes) then you shouldn't bother playing. They are the &...
Title of the article is inaccurate. It should read
"Why Over-Entitled Consumers Are Furious Over The Pricedrop And Titanfall Edition Xbox One."
Early adopters of the system made their choice, and obviously weren't too concerned with paying premium price. Common sense would dictate that the only people who should really be upset over this, are those who thought about the possibility of X1 having a price cut, but chose to purchase one regardless ...
So dropping the Kinect is so absolutely mandatory for you, that even if they lowered the price, it has to be because they dropped the Kinect, so a $399 system with a 1TB HDD that still also includes Kinect, simply won't do...
The amount of hate/disdain people like you show towards a peripheral for a console system whose use is optional, is so mind boggling, you'd think we were talking about gay marriage in the bible belt... The ironic thing is, you likely haven't ...
@king
"the check in..well you gotta not think of your self...you would be surprised how many gamers dont have a internet connection..."
- why would people without internet buy a console that requires it? It's like claiming the Amish would be upset because the X1 requires electricity - it's a non-issue.
"so a brick xbox would be bought by the uninformed and the loyalists would be forced to buy a ps4, wiiu, or add another...
"It's interesting how the xbone finally gets 1 multiplat game running at 1080p/60fps and all of a sudden you think the xbone is just as powerful as the PS4 and resolutiongate is going to stop now."
- That's really not whats going on here... It's more along the lines of despite the jokes and heckling the console has received, there are people who knew all along that the X1 was capable of 1080p/60fps, (even though it already accomplished this with Forza an...
The next argument will be how resolution isn't that big of deal, texture detail is, or lighting, or post processing effects, or maybe it will just resort to a numbers game of comparing how many 1080p games each console has.
You are basing your argument around a logical fallacy - Xbox dominated the UK last gen. This gen they do not, thus the decision for price drops = full panic mode...
Other than showcasing your personal opinions and/or expressing how you want it to turn out, you haven't actually formed any argument around your claim, or disproved my reasoning, other than "Microsoft is in full panicking mode right now and it doesn't take a genius to realize that," so forgive me...
I haven't really seen any overhype for this game. Sure, it's all over the community and in the press, but it's really just normal hype/marketing that new, anticipated big hits tend to receive. The thing is, time and time again, TF has been able to justify all this hype by letting people play it for themselves, and the devs being really transparent on issues.
Other than a few sites here and there blatantly overhyping the game, like claiming it's better than Jes...
