You apparently have never played a competition level match...

Even at 5v5, (which was the limit for competition games I played) action can be intense and players still need to be aware of their surrounds, and this was in a game that supported 64 players.

You guys can joke and high five one another all you want over the low player limit, but unless you have actually spent a significant amount of time playing in such an environment, your opinions are little mor...

And if you had been reading some of the news lately, you would know that one of the purposes for the AI in Titanfall, is to act as cannon fodder for players, providing quick/easy points to put towards earning your titan. The AI is not supposed to be reliable teammates or challenging opponents - they are not acting as bots. The only challenging players in the game, are human.

When you say something like, "You can walk into their spawn and they...

" If my x1 can't hit 1080 and 60fps , I can't say I won't be disappointed, I was expecting these things when I made my purchase. "

- And that's exactly the problem. People had expectations based off nothing but their expectations, then when said expectations aren't met, they point the blame at the console. MS/Sony never promised you anything. They never stated all their games would be 1080p/60fps, and the notion that games aren't "next-g...

You are not understanding the purpose of the AI...

They are not designed to serve as reliable teammates/enemies. They wanted the team aspect to be comprised of only humans. The AI are not functioning as bots. Think of it like minions from a MOBA - they serve a specific purpose, and you cannot change it - they are intentionally dumb.

Lots of misinformed people in here when discussing the AI. The AI in Titanfall is supposed to be stupid - it has been talked about in numerous articles. One of their functions is to serve as cannon fodder so players have targets they can grind for points to earn there Titans faster.

"They’re (AI) meant to serve several different functions. On one level, the AI characters are there as fodder for players who simply aren’t good enough to kill other player-controlled charact...

That is only partially correct. Another variable to the equation is that MS deliberately capped pre-orders so consumers who didn't pre-order, could still get their hands on one. Sony however, basicaly said to retailers, take as many pre-orders as you want.

Also, MS is overall better with their supply chain than Sony. There have been instances where the X1 appears to be sitting on shelves untouched, when in reality units have been sold and restocked...

The thing about the online services for each console, is that (generally speaking) they each excel in different fields. PS+ excels in the "free stuff" category - the games, their apps, the amount of content available to you without a fee.

XBL excels at core gaming functions - matchmaking, server stability, chat functions, and overall quality in this dept. Again, this is a generally speaking, as in the mindset/attitude I've seen from most people I meet online, ei...

It's ironic how so many people try to dismiss this game for being so much like COD, yet apparently don't realize that by making that comparison, and based on the overwhelming positive reception this game has received, they are essentially admitting that despite their personal unimpressed opinions on the game, it is likely going to be successful. It's almost like they are trying to convince themselves (and perhaps others) that since they don't like it, it will fail.

The first 2 questions have been answered, or partially answered:

Is there customization?

- There is customization - this can be seen in the leaked alpha vids, where it says "custom pilot" and "custom Titan" on the loadout screen.

What game modes are there?

- There are other gamemodes beside Attrition (TDM.) Hardpoint has also been confirmed, which is a capture and hold gamemode with multiple control points.

You are making the common mistake of claiming that any sort of inspiration from the past or any game released where another game did it first = not innovative. Portal is a very innovative game, yet the concept is not original - look up "Narbacular Drop."

Virtually everything is inspired from something else, even the Starhawk example you used, that doesn't mean they still can't be innovative.

This guy is such a tool. There is so much fail in his argument, his attitude, and just him as a person, that is literally makes me angry. How a person can be so self-centered and out of touch, is painfully frustrating. I hope he choked on his dip...

It's not a COD clone, yet it shares similarities.

- Did you see any camping? I saw none.
-- More importantly, did you see examples of gameplay that would even promote camping? I didn't.

- Did you see any killstreak rewards? I saw none -- Titans are tied to a cooldown, so now not only the "good" players ca access the cool stuff. It also looked as if Titans are locked down to the player that called it in, so no "care package stea...

"because the Grunt killer farmed points from bots he got the Titan faster and then had the advantage, he exploited the cheap design of the game."

- It's not an exploit - it actually one of the reasons the bots are there, to grind them for points/xp to lessen the cooldown of your Titan. That being said, bot kills give you the least amount of points anyway.

These players weren't "exploiting" this mechanic ...

Graphics aside, odds are this game will receive better ratings than KZ:SF did. As for sales, I can't possibly see how this game could hurt sales. It might not contribute to future sales, but that is not the same as hurting them. Whether on 360, X1, or PC, MS wins either way.

The AI are deliberately dumb - like cannon fodder. Like minions from MOBA's, they serve a similar purpose, to act as easy XP for leveling your character, or in this case, for decreasing the cooldown for your Titan. They serve other purposes as well, but this is one of them.

The lack of recoil of the weapons is something I actually applaud. So much emphasis these days on "realism" in shooters. The weapons in Titanfall are more similar to the arena shooters of pas...

that proves noting...

Who are you to say he/she doesn't honestly feel that way? Seems like you're using your own personal opinions, as a guideline to judge the validity of others. This is why I avoid reviews/preview vids, because other people's opinions mean nothing to me. I will decide what is good or bad, what is fun or not, since I know what I like, not other people.

His use of "Sony guys" is referring to those gamers who game on PS opposed to Xbox. Gaming on PC voids you of this classification, since the context of his post implied gaming exclusivity of either one brand (xbox) or the other (PS.) In this case, the PC is a irrelevant variable.

Furthermore, you even strengthen his argument with your own words, "i can play it on my pc with a dual shock 4 if it had controller compatibility,"

"IF"...
