"We all used it, it was not a fun experience it took far too long to even find the settings menu. It was just bad."
- I just said, "xbox, go to settings," and lo and behold, there they were...
Unlike many here, I don't give s*** which console is selling more - I'm not an investor, a shareholder, or even a retailer - I'm a consumer/gamer. I bought my system, and I enjoy it, and I'm not going to enjoy it any more or less based on how many other people buy it or not. You guys can continue with your pissing contest - I have games to play...
"Ask anyone what games they’re looking forward to the most in 2014, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will probably be on that list."
- nope, not on my list... as far 2014 rpg's go, Dragon Age, Pillars of Eternity, and Destiny are my top 3.
That analogy is inaccurate. Speed of a car directly impacts your travel time, one of the prime reason for driving, game framerate does not. 60mph in a car is going to get you from point A to point B faster, however game framerate is not going to get you from the start to finish of a game any faster, nor is it going to make you complete actions any more quickly.
The only way this analogy would be accurate, would be if higher framerates somehow increased how long a second is or...
Of all the games released with GWG, there's a bunch I haven't played, and not just arcade titles. Many argue that the games they offer are "old" or "poor quality," like only new games are worth playing. The fact is, the core audience is likely to have played all the big releases they were interested in, regardless of their age or budget.
I don't care how old the games are if they are AAA releases or arcade titles - I care that they offer me gam...
The thing is, although MS is essentially where this campaign (or the idea for it) began, it isn't really the company people should be mad at. Everybody loves when bad news circulates around MS and they love pointing out how "evil" they are, but in this controversy, Machinima are the ones people should be looking at.

Furthermore, since there was a contract, and the...
I'm a fan of color as well, and it can be used to create "war torn" dystopia, like in Borderlands. Videogames that look like videogames, isn't a bad thing...
The visuals in this game remind me of Fortnite.
Since this discussion apparently turned into a fashion show concerning the PS4 vs X1, I guess I'll give my 2 cents:
Regardless of words being thrown around to describe the X1 - boxy, big, VCR, etc. one thing about its design, is that it works - it looks like it belongs in your living room or in your entertainment center. Hell, it's been compared to looking like vcr's and dvd players... it doesn't standout or look like a game console - it just blends in with th...
Airburst. Nuff said.
How many games do you play where this option even exists? Most MP games have a set player count, even ones that support bots. The only time player ever really get to set the player count, is when they are playing directly against/with bots - That being said, the AI is not operating as bots in Titanfall, so your request makes little sense.
The AI in Tatanfall is entirely independent of the player count. They do not replace human players, or make up any of the 6v6 team. They a...
I put more blame on those who participated, not MS. Going with what is stated above about the agreement:
"You may not say anything negative or disparaging about Machinima, Xbox One or any of its Games in your Campaign Video."
"You agree to keep confidential at all times all matters relating to this Agreement, including, without limitation, the Promotional Requirements, and the CPM Compensation, listed above."
- Seeing the ...
The thing is, there are people that don't find them "inferior" at all - It's all about perspective.
For example, all my friends play xbox, so any MP/co-op multiplat that comes out, I will find infinitely better on Xbox, since I have my friends to play with. And when I say "friends," I mean people I've known for awhile and socialize with in the real world, so it wouldn't even be case of simply finding new friends on PSN to play with. For S...
It's not about about "believing what I want to believe," it's about what is and what isn't. What I stated about the AI, is indeed it's purpose, at least in part. They are not designed to act as teammates, which explains why if a game starts and teams are unbalanced, they aren't filled with bots. They have their own purpose, they even have their own spawn points.
The whole part of your rant about Respawn being a small, independent studio, had noth...
You completely missed his points when addressing the AI...
The AI are not meant to serve as replacements or "filler" for actual players - they have their own role. They are not acting as "bots." Think of a MOBA like LoL. It is a 5v5 game, with lots of AI on both teams known as "minions." The minions are not designed to serve as teammates in the way adding bots to a game would.
Some of you need to actually read up on what Azure offers to devs. It isn't just "crude" dedicated server support...
Sony's Gaikai tech is incapable (in its current) form to utilize everything MS Azure can accomplish. Son'y main vision with Gaikai was streaming technology. Azure is more focused around offering devs tools to be able to build/manage programs and apps through a network. Not only is Azure a more ambitious project, it also has a much larger c...
high player count games can still be competitive - you just play them with less people...It really comes down to the gameplay. I used to play RTCW and W:ET competitively on PC - both games support 64 players.
From a competitive mindset, the advantage Titanfall has is that 6v6 is the only way to play. Players will not need to adapt to playing the game with more or less people - The default setting is the one that will be used for pub games and competition.
Th...
It doesn't have to be illegal, just shady enough to make MS look bad, so they can point the finger and fuel their "typical MS" rhetoric... funny how so many gamers are so ethical these days, many of which are probably the same gamers that teabag players in MP matches, and talk s*** with the defense of, "it's all in good fun."
The kicker is, much of this "outrage" is taking place simply because it is MS. The company is in a rough situation...
"When I played cod nuketown on PS3, I would die as soon as I responded cuz the map was so small with 16 players. Now Battlefield 4 is 32 vs 32 and I am alive because when you put more you need bigger maps"
- So what you're saying is as long as the player count is optimized for the map size, it makes for a better experience, essentially a "Goldilocks design," of too big, too small, just right. The reason your experience on Nuketown sucked, was not becau...
It's less about expecting changes as it is about expecting content. The alpha did not have access to all the content available in the game, and players won't see it all till the game launches.
