Flower is an awesome game. Definitely try to experience it whether you own a PS3 or not.
And the score of "two stars" mentioned in the title is two out of two stars. lol.

From a business perspective, I'm sure Sony would enjoy an IP that sells as well as Halo. However, that's their concern, not mine...and not yours (unless you own stock in either company). As a gamer, do you really care about a game's sales when you have games staring you in the face? People can talk about Halo's and Gear's sales, but what OTHER IPs does Microsoft have a hold of? Sony might not have as many sales, but they have more IPs. They have more devel...
goldene355, do you truly comprehend the term "free market"? The PC market isn't really a free market when Microsoft penalizes the use of non-Microsoft software and strong arms retailers into carrying their own products (or not carrying the competition's products).
EDIT: claney, you don't know much about computers, do you? When you buy a new computer with Windows XP or Windows Vista, it comes pre-loaded with Internet Explorer. Also, many Windows programs use IE's various...
So you're saying that consumers should suffer because Microsoft wants to maintain its monopoly? Computer hardware isn't proprietary. You aren't forced to use Dell-brand RAM or a Dell-brand hard-drive (if there were such things) when you buy a computer. You can add your own.
However, if you buy a PC, you HAVE to use IE, if nothing else to download Chrome or Firefox. It doesn't offer the choice. Why wouldn't we want more choice?
Hopefully they come to a fair solution that benefits the consumer and promotes competition.
Hi. Just thought I'd pop in over from the Gamer Zone to check on you and see how things are going. Enjoying your time here?
A $300 PS3 with the launch of Killzone 2 would be quite the one-two punch to Microsoft and even Nintendo (since the PS3 would only be $50 more than the Wii).
With price difference out of the way, we'll see which system really starts to sell like hotcakes.
Though I dislike the phrase "_____ killer", a price cut isn't a "killer" of any sort. It's a business tactic and nothing more. Microsoft is running dry of "killer" titles coming in 2009 and beyond, while Sony continues to ramp up production of game after game after game, all of them looking to be AAA hits. I want Microsoft to invest beyond Unreal Engine and/or 3rd-party developers. That strategy is starting to leave gamers bored.
For someone who lauds sales numbers and concrete percentages, you sure are jumping to a lot of conclusions without any evidence...
Congrats, Star Ocean. Highest-rated JRPG from Square Enix this gen.
Motion controls on the 360 will fail. No, I'm not saying they will suck. I'm saying they will fail commercially and critically. If it isn't a part of the core system and it isn't a part of the console's "theme", it will fail. Period.
And before you slam disagree, go snatch up some reviews and sales numbers for games like Lips, You're In the Movies, and Scene It!.
Why are the mods going insane?

Don't forget the new Monster Hunter Freedom. That's my #1 upcoming PSP game. :^D
I like Heavy Rain's concept of QTEs. Most QTEs boil down to "hit these buttons correctly to not die". In Heavy Rain, QTEs are there to give you choice. There isn't one rigid "right" way of doing things.
Weren't KZ2 haters mocking the game when it was on the top of the Gamefly chart by saying "Yep. It's just a rental."?
Wow. That's pretty dang sweet. Better pick up the PSP (again) this year.
Microsoft,
Please invest in 1st-party development.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Gamers.
WHAT? This game rocked back in the day. I would definitely play a sequel.
Review score aside, this is the best $5 I spent recently. Not because of the value of the game per se, but the large amount of laughs it has given me and my friends. $5 for (so far) hours and hours of hilarity is well worth it in my book.
Flower is the other game I downloaded recently. Flower alongside Noby Noby Boy was quite a refreshment in the gaming world.
