The hottest article right now is yet again about how the consoles compare against each other when it comes to power. People do care but only when it works in their favor. But hey, the games really are what matters above all. It just doesn't seem like people think that way when you look at the 1080p 60 fps craze going on here.
It all comes down to what games you like, where your friends are and how much you're willing to spend initially (PC really does pay off in the long run but some people just ain't got time fo' that). There's no need to bring up bs arguments like viruses or the need to upgrade every few years. The first three is enough to justify buying a console. Different experiences for different people.
Man, that's a lot of re-releases. Nothing that really interests me personally even though the games themselves aren't bad.
If some people really don't like their games to play at 60 fps then maybe it's about time they get used to it. Games won't stay at 30 fps forever and delaying the switch by telling developers that framerate isn't that important will affect the majority of gamers who knows how much better it really is.
But eh, I'm blowing this out of proportion. This is just a way to make everyone happy. It's great to hear that the game has a consistent framerate.
What interests me the most is the setting. It just has so much potential. But yeah I agree that they haven't really innovated in the gameplay department (so far). It's hard to tell how it plays just by looking at it so I'm really looking forward to seeing some reviews.
There are literary only like two people in the comments who said that pc has been able to do this for ages. Yes, it's an unnecessary statement to make but just look at how many people felt the need to say things like "I bet you're enjoying tLoU on PC. Oh wait..." in response to rodiabloalmeida. I counted nine people. That's not counting the many people saying that PC gamers are "insecure", idiots or whatever.
There will always be people compari...
"So I ask again how is PC winning?"
Because when PC gets a bad port it's usually still better than the console version. IF the port is that bad then you also sometimes have the option to fix it by other means (like unlocking the frame rate for Dark Souls).
Edit: Genova beat me with the Dark Souls example :)
What's with dualshockers creating headlines based out of job requirements again and again? They must really look through every list of job requirements for every job until they find something that people will go crazy about.
Can't say I'm very impressed even though the content itself isn't badly done. I don't want to discredit the creator but I think he should have chosen a different map. Containers and boxes just aren't that interesting to look at.
I'm talking about the PS4 but yes, the best way of doing this would be to make it just like it was before. People who want the "free" games and could just pay for the damn thing and people like me who just want to play their games could be left alone.
The thing is that some people don't consider things you pay a monthly fee for as being free. You can argue that it's a very good deal or whatever but that's highly individual.
I personally don't really play a lot of the ps+ games offered. Not because the games are bad or anything. I just don't have the time. That means when I pay for ps+ I do it to play online which is something that I think should be free in the first place.
If I could pa...
"Official cover" is all you need for proof :)
It even says "official cover art" on the box!
Maybe they're disagreeing with "it's the only game on Xbox One that I wish I could play"? I suppose I was a bit harsh on that part.
But yeah, framerate is a pretty big deal (at least to me) since it has a significant impact on gameplay.
The framerate looked rather choppy in some situations. I really hope it won't run that slow in the full game. Still, the game looks phenomenal and it's the only game on Xbox One that I wish I could play.
Sony adding free games with ps+ in order to compete with MS is a false statement? Why do YOU think they did it?
Just like how Sony introduced a monthly fee for online play and added free games in order to compete with gold. It goes both ways.
Yay for competition!
You REALLY want to hate this guy don't you?
Cliff: Here's a teaser for my new game.
You: Who does he think he is??
Oooh you just know this story is going to be on the top of the page soon.
I applaud Jim for speaking his mind without sugarcoating anything. Personally I'm not too bothered about Microsoft's "180's" because sadly, I've come to expect this from major game companies (MS are definitely not alone). Right now I don't care what they say or what they do as long as they can deliver a functioning system with good enough games to warrant the price tag. You...
