In every article I've seen everyone says in-ENGINE. If you have a source that says otherwise I'd love to see it. In-game is of course in-engine but in-engine doesn't have to be in-game.
In-engine does not mean realtime or in-game. Still very impressive.
It's in-engine, not in-game. When they first showed cutscenes from TLOU they also stated that it was shown from a playstation 3. While this was technically true, actual gameplay doesn't quite live up to it.
I'm just saying that maybe we shouldn't expect "super-amazing-wet-sand-p hysics-simulations" when we actually play the game. Much like how the snow in U2 doesn't actually get trampled in-game like in the cutscenes
It was all pretty bad. Everyone had one or two cool announcements but I rarely get excited about CGI trailers.
I'm just happy MS didn't show anything stupid and cringeworthy for the first time since the Kinect was announced.
A new Conker would be lovely but at the same time I DON'T want it to happen because then I'd have to buy yet another console...
Way too early to be true.
I ordered my Wii U yesterday. It will be my first Nintendo console since the N64 and I sure didn't do it for more "mature" games. Nintendo has their own style and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Overhyped? Yes. Trash? No.
The pedestrians in Watch Dogs feel so much more alive though. Last night while I was playing I randomly walked past an arguing couple. I just listened in to their conversation which later ended with her being punched in the face and running away in tears.
The pedestrians in Infamous pretty much only do three things. Walk, sit or take pictures with their phones.
Oh hey it's one of these articles again. The game is fun and it looks good enough so at least I'm happy with my purchase.
10% is better than 100% :) At least they're up to SOMETHING. I'm hoping for a good Banjo game or another Conker. That would probably make me want an Xbox one.
Brilliant slice and dice action game. Looks good as well. Highly recommended!
It looks cool but I wouldn't call it "impressive". There were projections like these in splinter cell double agent multiplayer (released 2006, seven years ago).
Dare I say it?
I actually bought the game because of the gameplay.
Better things are usually more expensive. The thing about PCs is that it becomes cheaper in the long run if you're a person who buys a lot of games.
Happy customers are paying customers. Them trying to make us happy is a good thing for everyone.
Being a sucker for amazing graphics I'll probably end up buying this but the gameplay wasn't impressive in any way. He literally just stood in one place except for when the game started a scripted event.
Let's just hope the game has more stuff up its sleeve than pretty graphics...
Most people want to play online so I'm not surprised.
And the 1080p, 60 fps craze continues. 2033 is a 4 year old game. It better run well (assuming Redux = remakes of the old games).
Darn, I stand corrected :)
Assuming they're not just referring to the text at the beginning of the trailer (the part about it being shown from a ps4) and that the developers actually said it I guess we don't have anything to worry about.
The reason I reacted was because they had the same kind of text when they first showed TLOU. The video turned out to be a pre-rendered, in-engine cutscene. It ran on a ps3 sure but it wasn't in-game.
