My only gripe with the slim's appearance is how square-shaped it is. Almost looks like the thickness was sacrificed and replaced with width (or length depending on how you look at it).
If it weren't so square-shaped, it would be about the same size or smaller than many other consoles in this comparison.

That detective's animations were like... The best I've ever seen for gameplay. So fluid and natural looking. DAMN. I'd really like to see more of this game.. But I don't want to spoil any more of it for myself.. :(
I'm sure there were many factors in the overheating. Even my PS3 gets warm. Never bricked, though... But still. The thing can get pretty friggin hot (20 gig model/160gig hdd).

Also, wouldn't it have been inside a kiosk station as well? I thought systems overheat when they're in enclosed areas?

yes, the COD single player was always a cut above of most other fps war games. Extremely nice presentation.
I don't know if they'll be able to top the scene in MW where you crawl out of the wreckage only to die at the sight of a nuke. That part had me freaking out.
The graphics in WarHawk are actually much nicer when you play on an hdtv. I thought that as well until I played it at full hd. I don't think it *supports* full hd, but it makes a HUGE difference! Big clarity and texture quality boost.
So just because people go ahead and try to spoil announcements, companies shouldn't be able to say "uhhh, hahah.. How about no?"

I have my fingers crossed for a persona 2 Innocent Sin/Eternal Punishment remake. Ohhhh.. How great that would be. By far the best of the "persona" series IMO. Probably the best of the SMT games overall too.
They make revenue just fine I'm sure. Think about it. PSN is free. It's a free trip through their online doors, and with your first 5 dollar purchase, you're already paying them the amount MS makes off of live subscriptions or even more. The free online is what will make MS either reduce/remove the Live fee. Sony needs to keep PSN free. It's one of the PS3's plus sides. Free PSN is almost as important as the Bluray player, they cannot remove it.
They need to bundle their big benchmark games with the slim. None of these silly deals where you get a copy of so-and-so game, they need bundles. Every time I think of a great bundle, I think back to when Microsoft was selling the crystal edition xbox. Now THAT was a bundle. I think it came with Fable and Crimson Skies.
I don't know what the hell Gundam is being bundled for. With games like FF13 on the horizon, they went and chose a Gundam game?? Did anyone tell Sony Gundam games...
They have the text chat, which is ok for now I guess. It's free to play, so I'm not complaining.
Their "competition" holds patents for online console game chat. Does anyone think that may play a part in the reason why it's taking so long?

Sure, putting on makeup before going undercover might not be the most exciting thing ever, but playing through a dad's memories may be (different at least.
