What CAN they do about though, really? They would have release new controller models that didn't allow for that particular mod method. Still, people would find a way.. or a mad catz version would come out and do the same thing.
Turbo controllers were actually kinda fun to use back in the day. Something to just turn on and try out with different game to see how it worked..
In a way it's MS's problem, even though it shouldn't be. Developers will just have to work aroun...
Maybe they're slowly giving people options that will help them detach themselves from the game long enough to go out and purchase/play SC2! Then D3!. Lol. I'm sure playing blizzard-only games could probably be one person's entire gaming life.
I say Jackie Estacado should be #1 there. I'm surprised he didn't even make the list. It wasn't specific if it was for only villains.
If anyone played through the Darkness or follow the comics I think they would agree.
"In a dark alley with Jackie" translates to "You're already dead, and the eels are munching on your flesh/fighting over who gets to eat your heart."
By the sounds of it it there will be a hub where you'll go back to to set off on new missions. It may take 20 minutes to complete a mission, but I wonder if that includes the walking around/backtracking time? They did say it was open-world, or open-ended, whatever. Wandering around may chew up time as well.
I'm hoping for buildings you can enter for shelter and whatnot. Surely the city's buildings will have interiors? Or at least some?
This week's news is shaping up to be better than the last few weeks'! It's great to see that ODST is not in fact glorified DLC with a full retail pricing. They must have saved a whole lot of time developing it because the multiplayer is nonexistent and they're using the same (tweaked I'm assuming) engine as Halo 3.(edit) It should allow them to focus on a well made single player experience rather than the million other things they would have had to worry about while making a new game with a n...
So does 1.5 mil in the first month sound accurate? Hmmm.. Probably a bit lower. I'll play Pachter for now, and predict a 1.1 or 1.3 million sold for the month of September.
It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be. It almost feels like the PS3 platform itself is in a perpetual Beta mode. one year, you're barely getting full HD games, next year you have 3d head tracking in full HD. Yet the Firmware still has little issues and whatnot, the features keep getting better and better.
Here's to the rumored 3.01 update. Hopefully that can make a few people happy.
Well if the PSP remakes are any indication, SE is probably waiting for a timed exclusivity agreement to run out or something. Not having So4 on PS3 would be like Bungie making a new marathon game for only PS3. It would just seem a little....odd considering the target audiences.
Ahhh.. The magic of timed exclusivity... It's too bad that the average person/devoted fan wouldn't see things like that coming, and are the people who think they must purchase a console for a single game. Timed exclusivity is probably the most irritating thing about this generation... Well...No, next to overpriced DLC, and CONSTANT GUITAR HERO AND ROCK BAND SONG DLC PACKS!! ARRRGHHH! NERDRAGE!
But yeaaaahhhhh.. Isn't this the case with most games that find their way onto the PS3 ...
I can see Uncharted 2 having much nicer cut scenes, but from what I saw, the gameplay graphics haven't really been doing it for me. I've yet to see gameplay footage of any game that tops Killzone 2. I honestly haven't. That includes multiplayer gameplay as well. Then again, they're different breeds of shooters. I suppose it's all arguable though, since I'm speaking from opinion.
EDIT: Crysis. I know, I know. But they only started to mass-produce machines that can run it at full s...
Must be..
This is simply curiosity speaking, not hating:
Was this game actually amazing? I saw it being played in front of me for a while, on the 360, and it looked...kinda... not all that special. Maybe I missed something?
I think the director of District 9 was the guy directing the Halo movie they were making... Peter Jackson, was it?
Part 3 will feature Mario galaxy. You're going to love seeing THAT at number 3.
Halo is at number 2 because you're not supposed to question Halo. It can be placed anywhere at anytime, on any list, and you'll be branded a communist if you feel opposed to it....
Don't question Halo.. It's totally unpatriotic.
EDIT: Did I say communist? I meant to say troll, droid, fanboy, and perhaps even terrorist.
Is this part 2 a pity thing? I don't get it, the other list was fine. They could have thrown in RE5, or Gears 2 or something in there, so people wouldn't be completely butt-hurt.
SE COULDN'T DO THAT.
They'd upset their E3 2010 neighbors.
SE is dipping dangerously deep in the greedy pot with their most prized franchise, and when this game releases, it's going to be the most picked-apart comparison we've ever seen.
Fact remains, any time they spend on the 360 version is time they took away from polishing/making the (once exclusive) PS3 version better. You can't argue against that. Split up a team to do each version? Spreading thin. Finish development early on one version, move team over to port other version, relea...
Fancy live action! They must have been using the props from the halo film they were making and temporarily canned-- pretty clever though! That's a lot of nice work for a trailer I must say.
Question:
Does the game cost $60.00 because the trailer cost them a million dollars to film?
There probably are, like it is possible... But I dunno. Even though it may be going on, it hasn't caught anyone's attention as of yet.
