After you, sir.
It should look better than anything else out there if that's the case. It's pretty low. We've seen hires graphics on xbox for a while now, so handling a res of 1152x640 should give them a lot of leg room.
Looks really confusing..
Hahah well obviously as painful, but honestly.. I was looking forward to it during the beta. The lag really was bad each time I'd log on. I tried it about 3 times before I had to stop. I checked it pretty much at the beginning, the middle and then the end of the beta's duration, and what I said above was what I experienced. Now I know it wasn't my connection, because I played a lot of COD4, and Warhawk at that time, and they always ran fine with my connection.
I hear it's gotten ...
Morgan seems more of the geek-gone-hottie type. Olivia Munn seems... Oh i dunno. Like one of those girls you find nowadays that "love games" but only played "mario".
While visuals are great, it's not what people should be really focused on with this title. As long as it doesn't look any WORSE upon release, and the 256 player matches run as smooth as butter, that's all it needs to achieve really. I'm sure we'd all love to see KZ2 graphics with 256 players, but that's a tall order i would say, ESPECIALLY with the console in its third year.
Edit:
Hahah.. Yeah. What ^ said.. :p
Yeah, I was in the Beta. I played it two or three times. I'm not listing ALL the problems it had, but here are two that were key to my disliking of the game:
-Lag. Worst. Lag. Ever. Not acceptable, even for a beta.
-The (unattractive) GUI RAN WAY TOO SLOW. Organizing my loadout was akin to slowly tearing my own skin off. Slowly, and painfully. Then once my skin was off, it was time to take a salt bath (playing it).
Ah, so no worries then. I haven't seen that Patapon 2 "experiment" yet, but I'll keep a look out. It must have been somewhat successful, seeing as they plan to move actually move forward with the method. Increasing availability is the best thing you could do for a handheld. Convenience is the name of the game.
yeah.. They should keep them closer to the prices you see on PSN games.
That's pretty interesting, how downloadable games could kill off used games retailers.
If companies are letting u purchase games, and capping the download, I wonder how a business like GameStop would counter?
There's a problem though, I think withoud a wall of UMD's, the PSP will lose its store presence. That's important in a setting where you have direct competition just shelves away? Perhaps they'll leave preview boxes on the shelves, and you would purchase them th...
G4's forums are some of the worst I've seen.
I CAN BARELY HEAR YOU! SPEAK UP!
Pretty crowded up in here.
.....and after all their efforts, MS only managed to get ahead of a highly expensive console by less than 10 million...with a full year of no competition...with marketing campaigns that were near-suffocating, with a console that has been 199.99 for a WHILE. I think it's safe to say they're pretty much stuck with Sony for the "not winning" position, and they're competition can only edge in with a huge first party development team, not to mention a LOT of fat to shave off (price), an...
It's just like being in a grocery store and seeing the expensive cereal you always want to eat go on sale.... You GOTTA buy it. It's too expensive otherwise, and you'll regret not buying it when you get home!
I have yet to see an Amazon PS3 sale that DIDN'T sell out like crazy. They sell for nowhere NEAR the price of the 360's lowest sku. That may be an indication that people will hold it in high value obviously.
The article DOES come from examiner. And well... we all know about examiner..
The way Don Mattrick (I think that's how you spell his last name, meh) laid out the numbersregarding Sony and catch-up, it seemed to make sense.
It was like if PS3 continued to sell and xbox sales stopped altogether, then they might surpass xbox by 2011 or 2012 or something.
With a price drop they'll at least catch up to them I think. Only problem for Sony is that MS is going to FLOOOOOOOD the world with Natal marketing as if it was a relaunch of the system. Then the...
It reeeeeally shouldn't be....
I could care less about the multiplatform dev's supporting things like this, at this time, but I believe all exclusive titles should be subject to standards such as these. They only have to worry about PS3 development anyway, why not make the function work while they're at it? Then worry about the 3rd parties.
This gen sprung early, I HAVE NO CLUE WHY. It'll take some extra time and care, for sure.
Haste makes waste, taking it slow would be for the best. 2012 seems too soon even.
the resolution of a game won't determine how fun it is though...
