In the wake of a Slim sales surge, they resort to traveling through time to bash the next PS console? I guess bashing it now would make you look kind of silly.
I think it would be hilarious is Sony bought SE, and split the companies back up.

They had some obvious reasons to jump ship on Nintendo. I think it was mainly due to the media Nintendo wouldn't stray from---cartridges.
They supported the PS2 like crazy, and probably made a fortune off of that console. It was successful worldwide.

Yeah, EA have really shed some of their dead skin in the past year and half. Although RockBand is a tad bit bloated now and milked to no end, they really have tried to spread out a bit, which I think is great.

They've been holding it down in Europe for many years now. They know what Europe likes. A FIFA bundle (although nothing amazing in NA) is much like a Halo3 bundle, if not more significant, in Europe.
I also hear they really reallllly like Singstar over there too. Have they released a Singstar bundle yet I wonder?

CAPABLE of running games and OPTIMAL for running games are two verrrrrrryyyy different things.
It's a phone. It's a media player. It can browse the net. It's hardly a gaming platform.
I wonder what Nintendo and Sony are thinking right now.. I think Nintendo may feel kinda threatened, seeing as they are sitting in the casual throne, atop mountains of shovelware. Sony is just..well.. there I suppose.
Sony and MS should just work together on a console. They're attracting alot of the same customers, and Nintendo will always be out there providing for the casuals/children. I can see if North America becomes Primarily accustomed to XBox, and THEN PS3 at half those numbers, Europe, Half/Half, and in Japan PS3 and Xbox sales 3:1, they'll probably be close to being tied for a long time.

A much as I'd like to see Sony do amazing things this gen, it wont happen, not until the 5+ year mark. Their first couple years drained a lot of steam out of them, it's only now that we're seeing the increases. even if PS3 sold 1 million units a month for the next 12 months, that still leaves them fighting for 2nd. Nowhere near the 50 million.
PLEASE Nintendo, I had to ignore you for the last 10+ years. Please do something amazing, or just GTFO, and take your first party titles on the road --take a page out of Sega's book...

I haven't really of that before, but Netflix is always outdone by streaming video from the PS3's web browser. Only difference is is that you don't have a party of people to watch it with. But since when did we require other people to sit quietly with us as we watched a movie or show?
