If not tacking on co-op will lose you points, then I expect to see NO game ever get perfect 10's, unless the core game mechanics are centered around co-op. I still say nobody wants to give it a 10, so they blow up any small thing they can find, even things that don't work in the game's favor.
It's just another means of getting to children. If LIVE is going to be blamed, you HAVE to point the finger at every other social networking community that allows people under the age of like 18. I don't think this should've been approved at all.
Haven't used much Linux.. But, I must say, with some tweaking, that logo could actually work.. Hell, it's got the three-theme to it. Wouldn't be straying TOO far from the color scheme from the psx logo either.

JUST a few minutes ago I finished a good Broodwars match. Must be making room for Sc2 teams? lol. Hopefully. SC is probably the best RTS I'VE ever played--- I find it hard to understand why they'd axe them so far from sc2's launch though.
I really hope they make good use of the motion controller. Like tilting the DS3 to scroll the map, or to bring up commands so u can eliminate some awkward multiple-button-pressing combinations.
IF NOT, then mouse and keyboard will be fine.
The only games that SHOULD be compared are sequels and their predecessors, and Sports games where rules and gameplay don't change.
I could tell u right now I had more fun playing single player Doom3 over halo3, or 2(to be fair), but that in itself is an OPINION! Which means, everyone has one, and your "favorite game" or "best game" is still tied to that opinion. It doesn't make it fact.
They're two totally different types of games, you can't compare them.
The whole "______ Killer" thing is always a bad thing, a direct comparison of somethig that can't and shouldn't be compared, and gives a false sense of superiority to the "_____". It makes as much sense as asking a chick how long her wang is, and then boasting about big yours is in comparison.

What's wrong with 6? It's basically like 10. It's got a mid-numbers (3-4) for mediocre games, and 5 and 6 for outstanding ones. It's like a simplified 10-based rating system.
When I saw that "6" I was like uhhh...... what?! I GOTTA see this.. but nope. They actually rate on a scale of 1-6. Which is cool, since they use a Die.

I think if you use the names of other games while reviewing a game constantly, you either A: Can't think of a way to positively describe the game, and B: Shouldn't be reviewing it in the first place.

Laughable at best... I don't see KZ2 falling short compared to ANY game they gave a 5. It's practically a generation ahead of everything else on that list, yet falls behind The Force Unleashed, GeOW2, Fallout 3 and Prince of Persia?
Hell, why not throw Fable 1&2 and Gears 1&2 in there too? And halo2 to top it all off.

I wasn't planning on getting to DLC, but those questions SHOULD be answered, especially since they released a PS3 version that sold fairly well. Shafting a console so often, and so early in its lifespan (Oblivion anyone?) could backfire on them for sure.
I'm another one of those ppl who listen to both for a long time. Most time when I hear the noise, it's not so bad until Torrence addresses it and the show kinda stutters. If it were my show and had to halt the show periodically, I'd lay down some cash and send the mic's I WANTED them to use if the problem was that bad. That way there's no excuses. But oh well, I love the podcasts from HHG and The Bitbag, I find them to be really informative, entertaining, and they all have pretty good chemist...
