:O
Hahahahaha... Exactly..
Maps should be forced as a patch, and free of charge (Charge for new skins or whatever).. Lots of games that offer it as pricy DLC tend to segregate the userbase.
TOTALLY agree with you there. I'd like to see a Halo game that looks (well not exactly) like that ODST trailer. More realistic/believable visuals, but with all the fun gameplay aspects with nothing sacrificed. I'd LOVE to see that.
In the span of 2 years you'll see all 5 release too. It's a good series, I wish they'd just take their time with it.
^justify paying for p2p mp all you want. 99% of games have exploits. $50.00 Live fees doesn't really change that. Did it purge the world of controller mods? Nope. Whatever helps you sleep at night though.
Assault class with the revolver can really clear a room.. armor/boost/superpistol, no need for rockets lol.
I had to hang back one game in Tharsis depot because a guy kept jumping on top of the refinery pipes and laying bots above everyone. I watched him from around a corner to see what he was doing, and it seems as if he would jump on the railing above the area where the S&D charges are placed (the small room in the corner, opposite end of the helghast side), and from the railing, jump against the wall/beam that's there, get hooked on it, and then jump again to traverse the pipes high above. ...
The redesign already came. They implemented mii's, and netflix... and backgrounds they call themes.
If this doesn't work to keep them on top... Expect the FUD machineguns to open fire (as if that Watchdog fiasco headed by Ian Lee or w/e his name is wasn't enough).
Yeah, I've tried all of the above, my teammates usually don't clue in or don't care and proceed to run into he gunfire/grenades. I get most of my kills form sneaking up behind the campers tbh. In Radec academy, both teams have tunnels that NOBODY seems to know about, it boggles my mind. Seems like the Helghast spawns are the worst designed, as they have the least amount of options to evade campers. Great game though overall, I'm just wishing for things to be a little different, but that's the...
The spawn grenades alone are not amusing. They SHOULD have them so you can only drop them a certain distance outside the objective area, most games just have you losing if you're on the offensive because of those damn things. Radec academy/Tharsis depot search and destroy comes to mind. Coincidentally, those are the two maps everyone loves playing in. Instantaneous Clusterf**k Grenades.
The spawn grenades are by far the most exploited mechanic regardless. spawn camping all day. I can't count the amount of games where this nonesense would go on.
They should really patch this game up, and do some re-balancing of the classes. Or at least make the spawn turrets indestructible and much more damaging. They're not much of a deterrent as is.
As for lagswitchers, I've never seen something this bad, but I've had many many games where I was the top player for ...
First attempt I can't see it happening. Second attempt, I think they'll get serious and just take it by force.
It's really too bad MS doesn't take it upon itself to create new IP's, but I guess they're more into the "taking the fun away from the majority business".
I smell Hostile takeover.
MS have to do what they have to do to stay competitive... No two ways about it.
If only they'd flash a gundam or another giant robot suit in Mass Effect 2's trailer, they would be guaranteed success.
Now if THAT's not scalping your enemy and wearing their hair as a hat, I don't know what is!
PS3 playing DC games? LOLWUT? How generous of Sega. I really hope this is true.
I hear the same for Nazi Zombies, hahaha...It's crazy what some people will pay for things.
I remember people raging on halo 3 for a couple reasons. It was the most hyped game ever, and as I recall they mentioned a lot of "free passes" with the game. The words "double" and "standards" were thrown around a lot back then. Although Halo3 was a good game in its own right, a full release, ODST is an expansion, hardly a full release. That's fact, yes? This doesn't make ODST a bad game though, expansions are a wonderful thing. The more content the better (even...
NO, these must be fake. MS would announce Gears 3 when they have the most people watching them. E3 most likely. It doesn't fit their style. They like big announcements, and loads of marketing/hype while announcing their key titles. I DON'T think they'd try to fly under the radar with Gears 3.
Edit: Marketing before release I meant. But yeah.. We'd know if Gears was actually around the corner is what I'm saying.
ehhhhhh.... More waiting.
