Didn't I just see a Gamereactor review of Uncharted 2 (8/10)?
Somebody pinch me. Surely this can't be real.
They're gonna have to arrange a sort of "jury duty" type setup, where random people are asked to review a game.
Repetitive gunfights... Really?
They will probably try to introduce a brand new mode or something. I can't see them doing anything like horde/firefight/zombies. It would be neat to have something like those modes, but you are part of the team doing the assaulting.
^Enemies include a bunch of panicked citizens that went into a rage. You and your team are holding the only known vaccine remaining.
The last mission will have Soap climb on board a Vektan cruiser, and engage in hand-to-hand combat with Sev. MGS4 style.
Everyone I know plays only zombies in WAW, and play COD4 when they want to play anything else. I guess Infinity Ward didn't want to borrow anything from Treyarch. WW2 zombies doesn't make sense in the universe obviously, but it was a lot of fun. IW only needs to expand on what they did in MW2. Their success is guaranteed anyway.
Those PS3 fanboys you're talking about are probably taking a breather from the flood of triple A titles they've been drowning in this year. I wouldn't worry about them too much, they have a lot on their plate right now.
I think it's more of an attempt to keep Halo on people's brains until the reach marketing floods our eyeballs and ears. ODST did have a nice trailer, and some ok marketing, but really, amongst all these other AAA games being released (on xbox or not), they need Halo-something in the mix. Don't be surprised if you see this kind of thing all the time. Between actual Halo games you'll be getting $60.00 expansions to tide you over. Some people would actually pay for this, and that's what blows my...
The ugly section was great, I don't see many sites doing that. the MS selling a $60.00 game for $30.00 part had my brows raised for a bit haha. I guess it's for the better that they didn't include a number grade for it. Sounds like it would have scored a 6.5 or 7 with the 60.00 price tag.
There are many reviews out there that are 9's though, so it's not as if the game is going to get a bad overall score.
By the sounds of it they replaced inhaling and exhaling with the word "N'guh".
What a talented bunch they are.
:o
Bold.
*Breathes deep, Holds breath* (Waiting for Edge/Eurogamer)
It's kind of like how it used to be. PS exclusives all year round. I remember comparing games to other games and discussing which ones we thought were better, and coincidentally, they were all PS games. The more games the better, as long as they all score 80+.. Can't have crap being belted out constantly.
It's all a matter of preference. Legends say, that PS3's controllers have a tighter deadzone, meaning with a PS3 controller you'd have quicker reaction time. I DON'T believe that, but whatever. I saw it in another one of these useless comparisons.
I can kill people just fine in Gears and Halo and COD4 with an xbox controller, I can also shred faces with a ps3 controller playing KZ2, or Warhawk, or COD4 as well.
It's all a matter of personal preference.
C...
hahah.. Yeah.We all know it's coming. It's almost at the point where they're a big joke. Everyone's waiting for their reviews so they can be like "WTF EDGE/EUROGAMER!".
I really want to see Eurogamer's review of GT5 though. GT is very successful over in Europe, soooo I wonder if Eurogamer will tear it apart and give all the praise another racer like Forza3.
Next up: EDGE!
6/10
Best game ever, feels like the last Uncharted. Give us hits now. Please? We're begging for the attention!
I don't get why they had to taint it with the "F-word". You all know what I'm talking about. THAT word.
hopefully this game is the game that gets Sony to finally throw in a headset with their consoles, or reduce the price of the current one.
Thanks for the response PshychoNinja and EvoAnubis. I haven't heard anything about how the game performed despite the beta being up and running (kinda). As long as it can handle the 256 players with minimal to no lag I'll be willing to take a crack at it.
It's still Gamereactor isn't it? Or are they a completely different entity?
