I have never struggled so much to finish a game, I am not looking forward to the 3rd one. Things would have to drastically change, from story to mechanics, if they want my support.

I typed out the first part, asking what games he would prefer. Okami is last gen, and it really isn't THAT innovative (Zelda formula, but its art style shines). And then I saw he had 1 bubble.

Hahaha, clicked on a random user (MasterofMetroid) who gave it a 1, and it turns out that person has a history of giving almost every game he/she reviews a 1.
Halo 4, all 3 versions of BlOps2, AC3, Skylanders, Bastion... the only 10 is for Kirby's Dream Collection.
Last year when BF3/MW3 came out, you could tell people were signing up just to trash on both games because low and behold, their only two games were BF3/MW3 (and their preference was blatant!!...

Here is my problem with this analysis.
The Wii U is set to release at $299.00/$349.00
Last Gen, the 360 launch price was $299/$399
Wii was $249
PS3 was $499/$599
Things have obviously changed... PS3 is now around $249. The Vita however is still $249/$299. To get similar functionality as the Wii U, a new Sony customer would need to spend approximately $500. And then you need to think of the PS4 launch costs. I'm not willing...

It has WAY better graphics than Gears 3. Now the next one may raise the bar again, but we'll see when its out.
And to touch on the "smooth gameplay..." I'm not sure whats going on, 343 said it was running at 30 FPS, but I am having a hard time seeing it. I could TOTALLY tell a difference in frame rate between BF3 & MW3 on the 360 (NOT A SLAM, TECHINCAL LIMITATIONS ON THIS GEN! Sacrafice either Graphics ...

I hear ya. I borrowed Halo 3 and tried a few matches of Slayer... its frustrating when people drop, on either side. Its no fun hunting a sole survivor, and its no fun getting gang attacked for 50 kills.

Trophies/Achievements are the bane of the industry right now, and are SO catered to this generation of late teens/early 20s that have had their punk asses wiped for them their whole lives, and then given candy. Instant gratification, thats all it is.

Game Dev 101. The game is done, dude. Its been done for at least a month, and the discs are being pressed & prepped for shipping as we speak, hence the MAJOR leak last week. That wasn't some beta code, that was THE GAME, box & all.

Ruby/Sapphire were the best and a culmination of the mechanics & creature design from previous entries. In fact 3rd gen won out in my opinion. 1st 2 gens were great for what they were and establishing mechanics. D/P didn't do enough with the new hardware and didn't revolutionize anything mechanic wise, and B/W's attempt to reboot the series by literally re-skinning and naming the original 150 irks me. Now all this Digimon power-up & merging is really getting to me.
If you are using it as your primary source for games, then you're doing it wrong. A $2 investment has swayed my decision on either spending $60 on a game I was on the fence about (Dark Souls), or it saved me $60 after almost falling for a Hyped game (Brink).

PC gaming is the niche/hobbyist market. Its not money that's holding most people back... its the time & knowledge on how to PROPERLY build one out, and then maintain and upgrade accordingly.

Nobody is disputing the overall "style" of the BL2 art is similar to Moss's, and I'm sure you could go back through the history of art and find plenty of references where Moss got an idea for his image.
The problem is the blatant ripoff of a part of the image. Its copy/paste.
It is a direct copy, zig for zag, and thats a no-no in ANY medium.
All its missing is a TIE fighter..
We know Halo 5 is in development for XBOX (can we drop the 720 now?), but I wonder how deep Activision & Microsoft are in bed together, and if COD 10 is going to be a launch title, assuming we see the console next holiday season. That would possibly drive millions in sales for both software & hardware in those 2 months, especially since Activision just raked in $500 million so far this week.
