No DRM, but they're following the Xbox live model for Multiplayer...
I couldn't agree more, there would be horrific repercussions for the space-time continuum if June 10th came sooner or faster.

... You Go Right.
I missed out on Demon's Souls because I fell on the wrong side of the console fence, but Dark Souls was AMAZING. I have entire days logged into Lordran. Do yourself a favor and give them a go.
I'm only 2 minutes in... did he just use BOTH SWORDS in the finishing attack!?!??!?

Then a broken pillar!?/!/
Final edit: Done, and can't wait for this to come out.
While there may be mass potential, there is almost an infinite combination of hardware/software to contend with while writing the software. It is easier to program for a specific kit (console, iOS & its 5 phones) then writing for millions of other customers, none of which are the exact same. QA also has to deal with as many scenarios as possible, and that takes time & money.
Despite all that, the PC gaming community takes pride in patching the holes when they arise (...
Try $850, you need a monitor to display those 1080p graphcis!
What about speakers? $900
Keyboard & mouse? $925
Cords & CAT5? $950
These budget PC articles crack me up.
64 player submarine battles?
I'm in.
You may be onto something.
City/State based teams.
Look, anyone can try to walk onto an NFL team, you just won't get far (like the parking lot!). Gamers could try out for "local" teams based on where they are from and that could generate "home-team" interest.
Just a thought.
My friends can't borrow my PC games (most of them), and I can't sell them either.
But, I can't copy a console disc and keep it for myself either.
That should be the only reason the console is 'always on', to verify the game is legit. It would keep the 2nd hand market intact but reduce illegal copies & modded machines.
I was about to comment about how PC games haven't been able to be sold second hand for YEARS but then I realized you were talking about the always on feature.
That doesn't bother me, for the most part. I'm almost always online, but I do understand a lot of people aren't or can't.
What bothers me is 3 things... The time it would take to download an up to 50 GB game, the amount of available hard disk space, and the fact that most ISPs still...
Again, as in ZombieU its a design decision to intentionally make you vulnerable. With hordes of zombies breathing down your neck, immersion is DESTROYED the second you can pause the game, organize your bags, etc.
Skyrim is my go-to to explain this. Granted, the inventory is ENORMOUS, but say you're in the middle of an epic battle with an elder dragon. You're hurt, so you PAUSE THE GAME and you proceed to quaff 25 potions and eat 67 bowls of cabbage stew, all while the...
Then you're missing the point about WHY the menu is so obstructive:
You're never safe.
If they wanted to they could have made a smaller menu, or allowed a pause so you could sit and eat 99 potatos (a la Skyrim)... it was a blatant design decision.
Pardon the shouting, but "making it a difficult task to complete" WAS THE INTENT!!!
And you had hot keys. You could switch between equipped Weapon 1 & Weapon 2. Item 1-5 could also be se...
I started 2 months ago to finally give the game a shot and because it was SUPER cheap to get the game & an extra month. It was good, not great, very grindy, but that's almost expected with a WoW clone (with lightsabers!). Then I let my sub run out, and waited for F2P to kick in to continue.
My account is not subscription but "premium," and that tag couldn't be farther from the truth. You need to pay to unlock essentially EVERYTHING. Sprinting, as pointed...
Advertising! How else do you sell industrial strength blenders at $1000 a pop? By spending a few thousand on the latest gadgets and fads and showing off your wares. Hell, the revenue off the YouTube hits pays for the video production costs and more!
Get it now?
Want to make a wager on that statement?
Same.
"Your" wouldn't autocorrect to "you're" in any situation, so either YOUR device is broken or YOU'RE misspelling it! =D
I know they're vaporware now, but remember the Move & Eye(Toy) for the PS3? Yeah...
Also, I HATE being grammar police, and I can deal with shorthand & texting lingo, but I make an exception for YOUR & YOU'RE. If you don't know how to properly use each one, just use "YUR."
THX!
Destiny MP blew me away, looks like a blast
