Everything was better in 160x144 rez and that strange greenish tinted grayscale...

You're funny! Bubbles for making me laugh.
A team can only have 1 Mega, and they act as curve balls more than anything in a competitive fight. Type changes, new moves or abilities, possibly slightly increased stats, it makes a complex game even MORE complex.
Right now Charizard is on the NEVER USED list for the metagame. Poor guy can use a boost!
The trailers are evil, they keep showing the same areas, I'm going to know how to deal with them long before I even get there!!
Ooooooh, long hall with statues... Smash before they come alive!!
You all don't seem to understand. To me, watching gameplay is a spoiler. Seeing different armor is a spoiler. Seeing creatures and their attack patterns is a spoiler. Seeing any new location outside the trailers is a spoiler (notice they keep using the same location?).
So no, still not watching the video.
And you have no idea if I can speak/read Japanese, so that point is invalid.
Must... Not... Watch....
I am trying my best to not see any spoilers and to experience the world myself, just like I did in Lordran. It's going to be a LONG 5 months...
To top it off, ISPs still have bandwidth limits. These next gen games are going to be ENORMOUS in terms of disk space, and if someone buys a few games a month and goes over their bandwidth limit they are going to be fined/dropped. Don't forget about all the other aspects of life that people depend on for that ~250 gb/month (movies, work, communication).
Once those caps are lifted, then I'll be all for making digital mainstream.
Thats what I get for attempting to be funny and even include a ":)" in the post...
It's a joke in response to a joke comment that people are taking WAY to seriously.
Funny, I heard that is was going to be on iOS!
:)
All dog jokes are null and void now... did you see the dog take that chopper down?!?!?!
There is an official pokedex.
Have fun!
Yes you're right, a lot has changed. What hasn't changed is that children are freaking clumsy. There is no way in hell i'm handing a fragile $600 device to a 7 year old so they can play Pokemon, and there is no way they're getting their own!
Here kid, have a 3DS/2DS/1DS with Nerf Armor for less than $200 and have at it!
Funny thing is... it already IS one giant touch screen, they're using the borders and case to simulate the look of a 3DS, which makes sense from a certain point of view (despide XLs size, its the same resolution).

After losing a pair of DSs to my kids a few years ago, I can say the single piece construction is much better suited for a younger crowd.
I'm with you on the headaches, I went instant migraine when I first demoed the system, and I still have issues with the slider turned off... something just isn't 'right'. I'm looking forward to testing this one out and seeing if it affects me at all.
Bubbles! More bubbles!
It was announced today. Don't feel bad, it wasn't a Rockstar, Microsoft, or Activision (to name a few) product so the the obligatory "leak" never came!
I am looking forward to demoing this unit. When I tried the 3DS for the first time, I went full blown migraine in about 1 minute flat. Both of my kids have a 3DS, and whenever I try to play with the 3D off, it still looks wrong to me and I get eye strain & a headache if I play too long (10-15 minutes).
This is not due to a product defect, but rather I have the defect!
If the top screen is just a standard LCD like the DS or a smartphone, then the 2DS is 10...
Just to be clear, your gripe with the game is people can use a different play style than your own or what you perceive to be "appropriate"?
On my first play-through I was lv 85-90ish, went Sword & Board tank style the whole way and had a blast. My fourth run where I became the Dark Lord I was a Lv 2 Pyromancer and dodged/parried/danced the whole game. Guess what... I had a blast.
Step down from the high horse, play how YOU want to, and don'...
No, you aren't the only person who has made that remark. However people that felt that Dark Souls was "easier" than Demon's Souls can only say that because they had the experience and knew to expect the unexpected.
People like me who played Dark Souls first could probably jump into Demon's Souls and avoid the steep learning curve.
Its all relative, and you're entitled to your opinion... just flesh it out a little more and avoid vagu...
They will gladly take your $399...
Maybe mine as well, very compelling. I need some hands on time first.
I don't see why not, there have been Zelda games where Ganon or Ganondorf have not been the lead antagonist. He has been alluded to, hinted at, foreshadowed, or ignored in at least 1/4 of the series, most recently Skyward Sword.
That being said, there is clearly a resemblance.
