So you want people to agree even if they disagree? I played Ghosts (rented, able to put in about 6 hours over 2 nights), its not a great game by any stretch of the imagination. It just passes for OK. And I don't love it, in fact I'm passing this iteration. Therefore, I disagree. dieforgame is allowed their opinion, but again, I disagree with it.
I wouldn't go so far as excellent, it was really good to a point then the game lost me & I had to stop because the aftermath was unbelievable. Not in the OMG sense, rather the "this wouldn't ever happen in this situation" sense. (Midnight encounter, intrusion, jail, NOBODY CARES AFTER YOU BREAK OUT)
The game is a great base, hopefully they can expand on all the elements & improve the writing to make an improved successor!
NO DEAL. Give everyone Origins style or they might as well cancel the project. DA2 was horrible crappy bad all around and I forced myself to finish the game.
/facepalm at everyone getting on Boogie's case for being fat (hes lost a lot of weight already... yes he was fatter), jumping to conclusions about the woman filming him (that is his WIFE), and not realizing Francis is a satirical CHARACTER and a raid boss of YouTube.
I played it myself, ignoring any and all reviews because I personally like CoD.
Its not good. Maybe IW can patch their way out of the hole they dug for themselves, but I doubt it.
Oooh, oooh! I played it!
Multiplayer sucks.
You're in the ultra-minority because N4G HATES anything CoD related, you like Ghost AND you like the maps.
Hey, whatever floats your boat.
Personally I despise 75% of the maps. They need to pick a "theme" for each one and stick with it... Circular, Tri-path, Vertical, or Spread out... don't make maps ALL OF THEM.
I'm looking at you, Chasm.
And most are way to big for 12 players... Stonehaven.
...
I meant when it abandons this current gen and development is exclusively for the Bone/PSFo (and PC!!!)
There are obvious tech limitations that they are self-imposing by having a similar experience across all platforms, and they're also using a thousand year old engine optimized for the current generation (and the last few as well...).
Frankly I'm not impressed with this year's iteration, but my hope is that in a years time we will have a better ov...
Its just like real life!
Here's the TL;DR Version...
Teabag.
Yes, teabagging gets you care packages.
People that buy video games are the reason you have no faith in society and not any of the other hundreds of thousands of reasons like child-sex slavery or corrupt politicians or fanatical religious sects taking over countries?
Priorities, check!
Look, people buy crap all the time, otherwise McDonalds would be out of business. COD optimizes quick, easy consumerism. Its like the Angry Birds for consoles.
There will hopefully be a shift next year when it goes next-gen exclusive. Pre-orders for BlOps2 were around 3.5 million, this year across 4 platforms they're barely over 2 million. Now, there are a bunch of retailers offering trade ins to get the next-gen version, but i'm not sure how many of the current gen CoDers are going to be upgrading next week.
Who knows. I rented it. It was OK. Hate 1/2 the maps. Pacing is slower. $2 well spent, thanks Redbox (and Obama!).
I'll clue you in on Wonderful 101... Not many people own a Wii U, and the casual folks who bought the Wii can't tell the difference or even know there is a difference. Those people wouldn't have bought Wonderful 101 anyway...
Its a shame, Big N got lucky with the Wii, but this time around being so far behind the technology curve and not branding properly has really backfired.
This is for real? Like really real? Am I going to find this on Snopes in a few days as mythbusted? No? Wow.
#6) Grind != Challenge, I welcome the new Exp Share addition!
#5) Megas aren't THAT powerful =/ And you get your first legendary fairly close to the end. And who evolves Goomy anyway??? (jk) I haven't used a mega for 99% of the story so far.
#4) Could be challenging, but I do this for online competition anyway. If you know strengths/weaknesses you can overcome.
#3) Can't do this in competition anyway, so I don't usually do it out of habit.
#2) A...
I've been preaching the "experience" line for years. The series isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination, you've just gotten better. The same goes for everything in life.
Grimer & Muk are questionable. If you think about it, there are a lot of Gen 1s that are horrific... Dugtio needs to die in a fire!
Trubbish is questionable too, but Gen 5 is pretty blerch all around.
And I don't agree with Kelfki being on this list at all. Chimecho is a bell. Litwik is a candle. Geodude is a rock. Vanillish is an ice cream cone. OK that evo line is just horrible... =)
Inanimate-objects-as-Pokemon have been a staple...
The TL;DR version...
Author didn't like the formula back in 1997, but then played Soul Silver (2010 game) recently and didn't like that either, and there is no mention of even attempting X/Y. Why bother, right?
Oh, and the author doesn't like a cartoon with children as the target demographic. Japanese children to be specific.
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
Fans blindly buy day 1, plain and simple. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and I do it quite often myself. This time around I'm going to wait for the dust to settle before choosing a faction. Also I hope to get some hands on demo time with both before a purchase is made.
Oh, and Dark Souls 2 has me locked into this gen for a while. (See? Total fanboy right here!)
Bull. It takes tons of skill to anticipate where your target is because of the built-in lag mechanism.
