Were abysmal? Are you kidding? Metroid has never been a huge seller, Super Metroid (top 3 games ever) sold less than Prime 3 what are you talking about abysmal sales. It has sold over a million ww. Also I was saying my personal experience with Prime 3 convinced me that motion controls are the future, and the level of interactivity granted by this is something the HD consoles cannot provide, simple as that.

This is NPD that means NATIONAL numbers is all that is counted. Of course there are numbers for other countries but NPD is focusing on the USA.

Anyway, TP was in no way a bad game, just wasn't as good as previous versions (OoT & Alttp)Though I did prefer TP to the WW in everyway, especially in art direction. There is no such thing as a bad Zelda game. Just very good ones, and the great ones. (again minus the Cd-i sh!t).
