I think you singlehandedly destroyed this myth that Wii is not more powerful than every last gen system. I will no longer get pist off at fanboy remarks about Wii's graphical prowess. No logical person can look at anything offered on the box or PS2 and say they had anything comparable to what The Conduit is doing.

I love these hardcore gaming imposters. Say what you will about Nintendo but know that next gen every console will be implementing motion controls, I guess that's when motion controls will no longer be called a 'gimmick.' Are lagging usually a price cut does seem necessary. However in Sony's case they just keep bleeding money, a price cut would only expediate the process.

As I;ve said in other posts, Prime 3 solidified my confidence in the Wii to provide a thrilling and unique experience. This idea that graphics are the "core" of a great game is so far from reality. If that was the case consoles would have been dead last gen, seeing as how PC's have been known as the graphical powerhouses in the gaming industry.

I'm not following the logic that because the game sold less on Wii than other platforms, don't make the sequel on that platform. If that was the case should EA stop making tiger woods games on every system except the Wii? Since that game sells the most on that system?
EA along with many other 3rd parties are missing a huge opportunity on the Wii, thus many of them are in the red. There are consequences for ignoring the market leader.
But their reasoning was E3 was downsized and no longer the show it used to be. With the ESEA or whatever (lol) saying they want to bring the show back to what it used to be, I think the Big N will also adjust their strategy.
The adding of all Sony consoles as a way to claim you are number 1. It is sad and untrue, and didn't Wii outsell all Sony systems for the year combined? And if you add DS, Wii, and GBA and every Nintendo console ever made...It gets ridiculous just take your medicine Sony, You might not even get to 2nd place this gen.
I was actually thinking of SF when I wrote that sentence! Lol. I absolutely agree about CoD4 and Gears 1 (haven't played 2 and have no desire to after 1, played it on the pc) both overrated games.
The other thing I wanted to mention was you spoke about MGS4 and how short it was, it took me about 7 hrs to finish (first play through including cutscenes) and that game felt very "casualized" Alot of ppl talk about Prime 3 being casualized and to a degree I can agree, but...
I don't think people fully understand what you've been saying in some of your more recent posts..and its unfortunate. The bottomline is HD consoles are just jr pc's. The fact is pc gaming and console gaming were as you said two totally different beasts; Some folks who gamed on pc's weren't feeling gaming consoles and vice versa. Others appreciated both for what they are (You being one of them).

Many of these publishers that are saying this are the reason for this. Many third parties have gimped the Wii version of games given them b and c dev teams, ported crap in hopes of making a quick buck...But guess what? shovelware was found everywhere for the market leaders during the last two gens..no problem there right?

What HD Tv do you have the WIi hooked up to? My cousin has a Samsung 42in 550 series with the Wii hooked with Component cables..PRime3 looked incredible on it.

So a game being cancelled that had nothing to do with Nintendo is the reason you no longer have faith in it..gimme a break. That baffles me is people wannt bash Nintendo for "rehashes" Yet the whole HD library of games most ppl are looking forward to can be called rehashes; RE5, MGS4, Killzone 2, Gears 2, SC4, I mean I can really go on and on.
