"The year of the PS3" that sounds so corny. Considering the weak launch and disppointing big name titles in 2007, the only place Sony could go was up. The thing that kills me about Sony fanboys is they seem out of touch with reality, the words of "if", "when", and "wait" are always common when talking about the PS3. Who sees the bickering between PS3 and 360 fans to be somewhat moot? So pretty much its determined that Wii will be #1 this gen and number 2 is still up in the air? What's that saying, 2nd place is the first loser. And to whoever is bringing up the PS2 as a reason sony is still #1 give it a break.

Final Fantasy was THE rpg for the PS3, and if a game of that status isn't exclusive to PS3 than KH being exclusive seems very unlikely. Without Nintendo's contribution to the games industry this gen gaming as a whole would be no where near the billions $$ worth of profits that its in. Take away Nintendo's % pie and gaming is in a financial recession. How does this junk pass the bar to get approved here? This is just another attempt to moan and groan that Nintendo is whooping the HD consoles this gen. And the extreme fans of these consoles are upset and bewildered as to how this is happening. Just look at the DS&PSP situation, that is a microcosm of what's happening with home consoles as well. This is getting really tiresome, yeah we get it Nintendo doesn't care about the so-called "core" gamer. Gimme a break.
I'm kinda sick of the ports and REmakes. The gamecube one was great and I enjoyed it, but if they are going to bring a new RE to Wii I'd rather it be a main entry and made for the ground up for the system. In fact, I'm thinking I'd rather have a ground up Wii RE title than a port of RE5. Though if they decide to bring RE5 to Wii with RE4 controls, it may be the definitive version, and I may get that also.
But Metroid Prime 3 sold better than Prime 2, also metroid games as a whole have never sold huge amounts, its a "hardcore game" if there ever was one. The games that haven't sold in the millions on Wii I have to ask would they fair any different on another console? Wii hasn't received the big budget third party game yet, and its still selling tons of software.

I think this is misplaced anger here. Being mad at Nintendo for not releasing so called "core-games", yet Brawl was released what 6 months ago? Prime 3 a year ago, Galaxy 9 months ago. My sentiments exactly. I don't get this "Wii is not in direct competition" Yet both companies continually mention the Wii for comparison reasons and guestimations. People have to come back to reality and look at facts and the fact is Wii is outselling both competitors combined month in and month out. But I guess the fanboy rebuttal will be "only soccer moms are buying, old people, and casuals are buying"
