@mkis yea, you guys always find an excuse for your hypocrisy. Can you explain how them having a console exclusive makes a studio acquisition morally better?
Also, naughty dog was a dev 6 years before their first PS game, sucker punch first game was n64, guerilla made an xbox and PC game first, so those then are bad acquisitions by your standard right?
Also, when there are only 2 consoles (n64 and ps1) and one has a 90% market share and a media format that...
I think it would not be good to change it all up, sends a bad message and no real guarantee the replacements would be superior, also, is this avellone guy really that impressive? (maybe he is, really don't know) Doubt he is worth firing all execs for a "maybe."
@cmv you mean like naughty dog, insomniac, evolution, media molecule, bend, sucker punch and guerilla games. Oh wait, forgot, you only get upset at studio acquisition in one direction....
Honestly, I really do not see the issue, the reality is, 250 hours is pretty normal for unlocking every item in these games, (I would argue it is probably below average) it give something to strive for for the most hardcore players. I do not see how adding the option to pay somehow makes that some major issue, but feel to explain how I am wrong.
I imagine if there were no pay path then the 250 hours would not be questioned, so obviously it is just a bandwagon complain about...
Yea, not sure how anyone could say nintendo is doing this. That said, MS is going towards what seems like maybe a netflix style business model on this, which if the content matches the quality and quantity and value of netflix, could be an amazing change in landscape.
I would say the biggest comparison is that Sony literally already has this technology and implementation and if it works well could change their business model to match MS almost overnight. However, Sony is st...
@eon, I am guessing you don't realize you completely side-stepped the question and just went on a rant. Oddly, a rant that did not support why you or any of the Sony fanboys on this site are so concerned about sales numbers on a game most of them don't own, and none of them have any stake in....
He didn't make an excuse, you did, he asked a question, a VERY simple question really. If you had a good answer, for some reason I have a feeling you would have replied ...
Culture vulture? Do you eat chinese food, but are not chinese? Do you wear sandals but are not egyptian?
Also if your argument about "culture" is not about race, isn't snoop dog, and most of these dancers for that fact american? And most people playing the game american? Specifically the devs are american, so isn't that within their culture?
Also, don't people like you also suggest we need to be accepting of all cultures? (I agree ge...
Yea, just UK so nothing specific, that said Dragon quest is amazing, and Spiderman is easily the best spiderman game ever made, so a really solid month as a PS owner
Combat is great, but I think that this game has some of the most impressive animation of any other game, especially considering it is a super hero game and many animation can not be attained via motion capture.
@joab definitely agree with GOW and Spidermam being best combat of the year, but do have to admit, GOW's combat is way above spiderman IMO. (And that is praise for GOW not an insult to spiderman)
GOW took everything good from Dark souls, batma...
@carl Fair enough, you are correct, that many of the perceived "downgrades" are not specifically downgrades in reference to compute. (Though I would imagine some of the changes did reduce load)
I guess more specifically, I am saying it looks less realistic, though that may be intended, or even preferred considering the comic book direction of the universe and writing. Still looks amazing, and still a great game, just think it is ingenuine to say it looks more rea...
https://www.google.com/amp/...
I assume you mean this article, if which if you read, is pretty much exactly what I just said (despite not having read it prior) increase in resolution with changes in textures and lighting (which the article gives no opinion on other than changed, but by even the most incapable eye are worse)
You guys on this site are so full of it some times, there is no way anyone can actually say that the released version is better than the E3 reveal. The E3 version is easily superior. That said, it is not a downgrade and this argument is always stupid. The game is developed using a target and the target is assumed and attempted to be reached, by the time the game is finished development, sometimes they are below their assumptions, sometimes above, it is nothing nefarious. That said, that does ...
@thatguy I am buying it digitally, so none are on disc. Not to mention you guys are some of the whiniest bunch I have ever seen. Because 2 games didn't fit on a disc and using dual layer discs, or multiple discs was not financially viable the game is now terrible. You guys are insane.
They literally rebuilt the entire game, engine, assets, etc FROM SCRATCH. And are offering all 3 games for the price of 1 game.
I swear some of you guys will complain a...
No, I am not only not concerned, I am counting down the days. What exactly is the concern you get 3 fully rebuilt recreations of one of the best trilogies in gaming history (IMO)
@exari yes that is the quote I think he may have intended and is certainly more reasonable, and frankly, relatable.
But someone you know liking a game does jot make it a masterpiece, get the sentiment, just think the title and some of the argument is flawed.
@wicked A good start would be rubber grips that do not slowly peel off over time, or are at least replaceable. My other controllers with rubber grips (even my PS2 controllers) have never even slightly began to peel off, let alone come almost completely off.
I genuinely think they saw Ghost of tsushima and didn't want to be on stage with it. Obviously they are different, but they are certainly in the same genre/market space. (More excited for ghost personally)
Hmm, I was hoping it was an RTS or top down like hell divers, but then it basically shoves in your face it is just another battle royale. (Which is a genre I actually like, but is way overpopulated already)
@riz funny how krib explained his viewpoint with reasoning and evidence, and your argument is just hyperbole. (A sad side effect of emotional and biased standpoints) Always seems to be the way you guys respond on here.
The reality is, EA Access is a great deal when used as he described and early access is a benefit of it, though, if you bought the game, you still get what you paid for, not sure what is so unusual about that.
People buy physical movie disc...
