"from what I heard, dont quote me on that I could be wrong, it takes 3-4k hours to earn everything."
Sure why wouldn't it be? It gives the most hardcore things to keep working toward, and not everyone needs to unlock every thing... there are plenty of games with unlockable things (and no MTs) where most people haven't unlocked everything, so what is the difference if they add an option to buy.
If there were no MTs would it still be an i...
Even if it was $6400, who cares.
1. They are cosmetic only
2. There is no pay to win
3. You can earn almost all (if not all) skins via playing.
If you are upset about the skin pricing, don't buy them. If you are upset you have to play to earn them, then buy them. If you are upset you have to play more than you want or be better than you are to unlock them, then work to get better or spend more time and unlock them, giving your experience longe...
Or maybe people like the devs to have revenue to continue making franchises and games they enjoy. Especially when that revenue is made by cosmetic, completely optional, add-ons that do not remove any function or actually gameplay related content from the game.
But whatever, you whine about skins that you can just not buy, because that makes sense....
Yea, such a dumb argument, just play the $60 part, and not any skins, and guess what it is the same exact game as the person who spent $6400.... or buy the skins if you want.
I am not sure that is true anyway. If the super mario series, or banjo kazooie, or spelunky had an easy mode, they would be way worse, the idea that every game that added an easy mode is as good or better than without is completely untrue. As you said, part of that is everyone playing it has the same experience, but also, half of the appeal to those games is getting good enough to beat the difficult sections and feeling accomplished. You can work to just beat part of the game, or put a lot of...
Honestly, they are know for having uncompromising, but fulfilling to complete games. The time and effort you put in directly reflects success in these games. It is not on FROMSOFT to cater to a group who is jot responsible for their success. They know who put them where they are and they know what they want.
I don't even like the souls games or bloodbourne, but I also am not going to sit here and whine that they need to cater the game to me, I will just play the games I...
Weirdly, how do they determine what is "crap?" If it is based on ratings/reception
1. How would they know before release?
2. Fortnite's full release was incredibly poorly received and "crappy." So their battle royale mode would have never existed if they got deplatformed when the game was a zombie building game.
That said, the outrage over the epic store is stupid. They are competing with steam, offering devs lower costs and more f...
I don't care if were 10,000 people hardware ID bans are perfect. Otherwise they just keep creating accounts and trolling the legitimate players.
Palitera, I play overwatch, rocket league and many other games where I unlock items almost every game, and have some of the best items without ever paying. In fact, many, even most of the items can be achieved without any money.
So end of discussion is hardly an argument, sounds more like you just have nothing to support your argument, but are unwilling to change it.
You still can unlock stuff (sometime everything) in almost every game with MTs... so not following your point.
Free or full-price, any game with PTW microtransactions are just unacceptable to me.
However, on that same note, if the MTs are just for skins or cosmetics, I am 100% on board for either type of game (But especially a free one) as I don't participate in them, unless I really want to, but get all the benefits of the profits. Unlike Mobile games, most console and PC devs actually reinvest into expanding upon their games and making them better experiences.
Copyrighting a dance, (choreography) maybe, copyrighting a dance move, no way.
1. There is no proof they made the dance up
2. What if you do the dance slightly differently, what constitutes a change?
3. Would dance studio have to pay to teach these moves? Since they charge for lessons? If not, where does the use become unusable without permission?
I think of all the suits, Alfonso definitely has the best grounds, but not that they sold his dance, ...
Well, sorry to tell you almost every country in the world was conquered then civilised. So, not sure why only the US has to somehow account for that. How about China, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba, Australia, India, most islamic countries, most european countries, and as I said almost every country in existence? Do they all owe never-ending reparations to the first native populations? How far back does conquest have to have happened before we can move on?
Also, the population in the...
Um, most likely they were given a choice to follow sanctions and disband business there, or lose business with many other countries. Not that crazy of a move. Not everything about EA has to be spun into them being evil.
@razzer yea, you are proving my point. You have to rig together 50 parts have your controller not even be fully assembled and most likely break your controller in the process, but it's not "impossible."
You have gone from arguing a reasonable point of view, but being wrong, to just being intentionally dumb. Again, by your standard nothing is impossible. Heck, you can actually get an Xbox controller with free charging battery pack, just steal it off the shelf,...
For someone who says "read what I say" you sure have a huge issue in that you keep saying someone said it is impossible, despite not a single person saying that. It is not impossible, but it is unsanctioned by the manufacturer. Not only that, they are "non-removable batteries" as the OP said, not impossible removal batteries, it is a standard term and everyone (except you apparently) knows what "non-removable" means.
Iphone batteries are "...
@razzer right, there are so many options you first you posted a very poorly rated product then posted a product that specifically says not for PS4. Yet not a single licensed or authorized product, or even a product with a half decent review....
You can pretend that the replacements and options are equal for the 2 controllers, but it is just not true.
Xbox: AA batteries, AA rechargable batteries (that work with almost any other device also) and tens of hi...
Do you see the ratings on that? Pretty much every says they are lucky to get 45 minutes after a couple months. Hardly the same as multiple high quality MS licensed battery replacements.
That said, I think a rechargeable battery should probably be included, but I hardly can understand how anyone can think options are worse than no options. (Or at best much more difficult)
I actually went from completely underwhelmed and uninterested, to most likely buying the game. It's actually pretty decent.
Also for me personally, I could care less about microtransactions as I don't participate in them and get all the benefits from the revenue they produce. (Unpopular opinion? Maybe)
As for the game's framerate and general run quality, it definitely had some hiccups, (but framerate specifically wasn't terrible) and actu...
@sega "I'm astonished that fully grown adults still can't see this. You're being played and you can't even see it."
I'm astonished full grown, supposedly responsible adults aren't able to have self control enough not to buy things they don't see value in...
I am not being played at all, I simply buy what I feel is valuable and usually that is nothing other than the base game. And the momey from people who do buy MTs ...
