@rachel "Steam never forced exclusivity"
Yea, they never had a competitor to withhold it from...
That is my point. Also, you don't know that Epic is "forcing" devs/publishers go use their platform exclusively, you just assume that. What if the dev decided to use them because they earn more per sale, or spend less for provided services? What if STEAM said if you go to Epic, you are not free to use our services? Or would charge an ad...
People are just steam fanboys for no reason, basically every game has been exclusive to steam for a while now, almost every game was only playable/purchasable via steam for PC. Now suddenly the world is ending. Totally unrealistic.
What if Epic is just offering a better platform/service and less of a charge for them than steam. Maybe STEAM is forcing some of these publishers to pick them or epic. Weird how noone ever considers that.
Would be like using go...
I mean, Anyone who has ever owned the same competitive online game on ps3/360 or ps4/xb1 knows PS player on average are not as good. I own many games on both to play with different friends, and with the only exception ever (fortnite) ai absolutely destroy on PS platforms. But it is just anecdotal, so maybe it is just coincidence.
@pork Yea, that is my issue too. Obviously the article is great and even the title is fine, though clearly intended to stir emotion. My only issue with the author, is that he is giving a response that implies that he had no clue the title would be emotional to people, especially those who didn't read it. Very disingenuous.
He could just say yes, I made a headline that inspires more people to become emotionally involved and more likely to visit (aka click-bait) There is...
Honestly, the criticism of the article is almost exclusively due to the fact that too many people read a title assume the content. To be fair, I don't think that is your fault, but I do think you are well aware the title and knowledge of that do kinda contradict your "I have done nothing that could remotely give that impression" stance. Unless you are implying you are unaware that readers (especially on this site) tend to do as described.
@wolf yea he was, and ziggurcat's response is to that. Just because a dev plans content doesn't meant they cut it from the game. It is almost like some of you guys would just prefer no DLC at all, which will just mean smaller scope full release games.
He says unchallenging and unfullfilling, but only manages to address one single issue (the use/placement of villains in the story) in his article. I mean, obviously this is just bait, I mean if he is going to criticize quality, the guy couldn't even build a proper site or use proper formatting on his article.
I mean, I don't mind if he voices his dislike of the story, but if his article were more fleshed out and his title wasn't inflammatory and unrelated to th...
I really don't get this idea. That would be like someone suing so you think you can dance if one of their 2 minute routines contained this 3 second move or the carlton. Would be not only insane, but unreasonable. There is:
1. No evidence these people were the first to do this move
2. No legal claim to these moves prior to their lawsuits, so almost no way they win.
There will probably be no offline SP, that seems unfortunately obvious, though I still cannot believe we really have people here complaining about that, the absolutely massive minority of people with no internet that own and play consoles is so small. (And the I can't afford $30/month for internet, but can buy a $250-450 console and games argument is the worst, so even fewer cannot get internet) Though I do also agree it is a pretty odd/stupid choice to link SP with online activity.
Even if it was actually racist, does that mean we think Sony has the right to take all his paid content? I think not. Well, rather, I think it should not be that way, I do not have enough information to suggest whether it legally would be a viable route for Sony (or any company) to take.
@nin I have never heard of the term either, US, whole life.
@blaq let's me message you, as your own post shows, so I obviously didn't block you.
@blaq No clue bud, I have never blocked anyone, no need to filter out thing I don't agree with as I am capable of being an adult.

They didn't say they wish people didn't buy them, they just said they are added because people do. Not really that impossible to understand.
Honestly, when only implemented for cosmetics I really have no issue with MTs. I just don't buy them, and even better most of the items are able to be earned via playing, so it actually diversifies my experience because others do pay.
You are not blocked....
Clearly you just have a trend of making false statements and presenting them as fact.
I messaged you, why would I block you?
Except that is a lie. 36GB on disc. And all 3 playable... just did it myself.
https://media.discordapp.ne...
The game shows as 200MB if you have internet connectivity as it overwrites disc data with newer data. The fact that noone can even verify this is the case show exactly how stupid your arguments are. I turned off network connec...
@blaq Yes, because the guy is doing an install while on a network, if you do it without being connected to the network, it is 36GB, (made typo before) the download overwirtes some files. Sorry you can't understand common sense things.

@blaqmagiq "Sooo... did you not look at the article that was posted? Or the reddit that the article links? Just in case you didn't. 238 MB is stored on the disc. 42.10 GB is from the download. "
Well that is just verifiably untrue, when you install from disc, without internet connectivity the game file size on my XB1 is 26GB, also my update for the game was not anywhere near 40GB, so even more confused by all this as the statements don't match reality. Unl...
@blaqmagiq
"Add to the cost? Stop this tired excuse"
You do realize they are about $1 a disc, so a loss of profit of $1 million if they sell 1 million copies, sorry you don't understand how math works.
"It's been made clear through leaks all 3 games could've fit on one disc"
Has it been? Odd you make such a claim with no link or quote, obviously because your source either does not exist or is not...
It is $40 dollars for 3 fully remade games, why add to the cost for them it is already a great deal and the size is obviously huge due to 3 games worth of content? And seriously who freaking cares? Why is this such a big deal to people? Every game that comes out has an update these days, yet this game seems to be some special sticking point, heck other games cannot even be played without internet connectivity at all, this is on update. You guys on here act like you have no access to internet...
Yea, agreed, worth the wait, improves in almost every area of the previous games. Though, it could always have been optimized a bit better, but multiple engine changes will do that.
