This is true with any game though. In fact, most games lose 80% of their player base after the first month, so PUBG is still way above the standard trend. Few exceptions like CS and DOTA. Sure fortnite will decline soon too, just natural, but both will stay extremely popular.

Yea, it should be obvious to anyone who is familiar with gaming how amazing that stat is. It is a VERY clear testament to how well recieved and genuinely like this game is.
1. The game is still very new so many may still be playing through.
2. Just think back of the last 10 games you bought, how many you finished, you might be surprised even with your own completion rate.

Isn't every new game released the newest game released this year? How does that make it less impressive that SOD2 made the top spot. You guys come up with an excuse for anything. Also being $30 is a disadvantage as far as I am aware as I believe NPD bases sales on revenue, not item quantity sold.

Everyone always pretends there are never diverse characters in games. But the reality is they are liars. I agree, these kind of deals are stupid, considering a beta is to make the game stable on release (at least by definition) so why prioritize a debugging process on 1 console, such as a beta, and not the rest if the game will he the same price and same content? However, when Destiny had an exclusive beta and 1 year of content (that is part of the $60 game) locked from Xbox everyone said that is just how it is. Seems like this site changes opinion very quickly depending on the perp.
Well, it is just a popular game, that is free, but why people would play this version specifically over mobile, console or PC, there are a few reasons:
It is a mobile platform, curated content, games optimized for the system and built-in controller with the option of a wireless more standardized controller. It is basically mobile, but with better input. Doubt anyone who owns multiple platforms playing on switch plays while docked, but, who knows.
There is no outrage honestly, just a VERY small minority upset about the violence and/or ellie being gay.
Um, she is the main character of this entry of the series, why wouldn't she be the only playable character?

Sony had the best games shown with gameplay and most coming very soon. (Death stranding being the most dissapointing IMO)
I am leaning towards agreeing with UCForce about next year though, MS is going to be very strong.

Personally, the fact that all of sony's games come soon and had gameplay and not CGI trailers, made them my preference, but MS did have an amazing confeeence, just all of the things that impressed most are far out.
@thornstein, it is just factual that women did not engage in combat in WW2 from US and EU countries. In fact, of all allied nations only russia had women in combat, and even then a small proportion of combatants (less than 3% including non-combatant women in Russia) and were used as "propaganda tools." Women were certainly in the military and were very important members deserving of honor and respect, but a game showing them on the battlefield in combat in high numbers is just untru...
Most people complaining aren't complaining about it including women, (though some are, just a VERY small minority) just hat battlefield games have generally leaned into realism more than fiction (COD usually going the opposite) so it is a bit out of character for the game to include women in the battlefield when they weren't there historically. That said, I personally could care less, I am actually more turned off by the hook hand and COD-like action gameplay in all honesty.

I disagree with the title, Sony showed games coming pretty soon and showed almost all gameplay in their trailers. The show sucked, sure, the content was great.
Definitely no surprises, and pretty boring, but I liked it at least. Though death stranding looked stupid. Tsushima looked amazing and tlou2 and spiderman we already knew are top tier, but the new gameplay was impressive.

Yea, didn't think that was hard to understand. Maybe you are just comparing cut scenes? IDK, there is a very noticeable quality change, maybe it was just very bad stream quality, but it looks just more washed out and less detailed and the animations seem way weirder.

Yea, there is really no grounds for any argument claiming that Sony's first party is not only the largest, but most diverse. Though, as a side note, I would love more classic RPGs like PS2 had.
