@edgelord It is storage though, devs cannot expect there to be space left on the drive, so it will not be able to be used as a real resource. It will basically just be the same benefit as a standard SSD no matter the implementation, unless you think they will be dedicating some amount of storage, handicapping the actual storage function, at which point, why not just increase RAM/VRAM and allow more assets to be loaded in and run way faster than any SSD on the market, by a mile.

@frost, usb 3.0 has a 5Gb/s throughput potential, and the pro and OneX have usb 3.1 (10Gb/s) I highly doubt there is a bottleneck vs pretty much any console priced SSD potential bandwith, definitely with USB 3.1, sorry you just have no clue what you are saying, so weird how dumb people are on this site. Either way, increasing RAM storage or CPU cache size would be better spent IMO.
