LoL. As if they didn't skew enough information to the general public. Now they're trying to put another dent in gaming journalism.

I have to say though, it could certainly use it. Maybe the ship needs to sink so journalists can finally wake up.

The first masterpiece took THREE YEARS to make from the ground up on PS2. Second one took two whole years on an already established engine. There's no way in Hell they're gonna spit this one out, from the ground up, entirely new game, in two years. That is, unless the Santa Monica team has grown and split up since GoW II was in mid development.

Again, I doubt it.

What is the world coming to. Your husband could be killed or horribly wounded LITERALLY any second of any day, and yet all you can think of is to get off.

Amazing. Human beings...they just never fail to push the envelope. How fickle and cold-hearted can one be. No remorse, either. Sick whore. FRY.

The employers of Bill O'Reilly, the one and only Fox! This is just RICH!

The classic arcade mode still has the updated graphics, just no tangible changes beyond that.

Anyway, what is so bad about the changes? They're very subtle, I would hardly call it "tampering".

*EDIT*

From the sounds of things, the moves are receiving a very minimal change, though. I think it's a great idea to augment some of the lower tier characters, should give way to more diversity. We've all played multiplayer and online games where ...

When the HELL did gaming become the equivalent of environmental activism? Save the trees, save the air, save the water, save the planet, BLAH BLAH BLAH!

Anyone who thinks there's ANY facet of the gaming industry that needs saving is a fine example of a jack*ss.

This garbage has been tired and old for well over a year now, why on earth does anyone keep saying it? Do people feel as if it's their civic duty to report on the turmoil and pending armageddon happening w...

Hopefully makes the game feel a bit more fresh. I can't wait for this. I'm also wondering how the Guile artwork is looking.

is hardly a valid argument, it's inconsequential.

It's a very subtle way of exposing sh*t journalism. Something that was previously hailed as exceptional is expanded upon, and NOT in a bad way, and it gets marked down.

Like I said, all that says to me is that the initial review was bullcrap. When will it end?

whether mo-capped or drawn up. Procedural generation is the way to go if you ask me, it's infinitely more dynamic.

I hope it happens, I'm starving for a nice, long, engaging RPG right now.

in the first place. I couldn't care less myself, but it's very telling if you ask me.

There have been an innumerable amount of ports and late releases since the bloody NES days that have satisfied critics and consumers alike, so there's really no excuse.

If a game is good, especially "10" good, as the arbitrary reviewers love to laud over, then among it's redeeming qualities should be STAYING POWER. This simply tells me that this game was a "7"...

LoL, that was classic. Sad but there's a good chance you'll be right.

If a game gets slammed, that means all the folks who didn't like it just didn't...not necessarily true for you. Ever see a movie that was panned by critics? I have. Transformers, F42, I thought they were both very entertaining. Same goes for games.

I don't think he literally meant go and buy something just because it got bad ratings, but rather if it's something that interested you in the first place and still does, just give it a shot. Demo at least. Critics shouldn't rule you...

Yeah. It won't sell a single unit. EVER. After Christmas, it's done. Every single unit right now will fade away, too. It was all an illusion masterfully orchestrated by a dark magistrate in a secluded, ancient order for reasons unknown. The 360 doomsday is at hand, people, be PREPARED!

When will we finally get tired of these nonsensical armageddon stories?

1 - Whoever took that seriously was an idiot, period.
2 - Rhetoric, hyperbole, arrogance...not to be taken literally
3 - That's arguable, and there's still plenty of time left. Still...that's any new processor. Typical marketing bullcrap talk.
4 - Again, debatable. I wouldn't necessarily say BETTER, but bigger, possibly, but again, this may or may not be revealed with time.
5 - Phil Harrison already addressed this. They were in a lawsuit, simple as that. Sure, it's...

I don't think it was a bad idea at all. They didn't oversaturate with screens, vids, and interviews, at least not until lately, when it was prime time to do so.

They took a chance, much like Insomniac did with Resistance, and I'm sure it will pay off. I doubt it reaches 2 million, though. :D

The hits just keep on coming. Ever have something that slags on so much that it degenrates from pitiful to just funny? That's what this is.

The A.I. isn't really THAT challenging, you just need to be patient and methodical about it.

If they really think Uncharted's A.I. is that advanced, they wouldn't make it past a single firefight in F.E.A.R., and that game's A.I. dumps ALL OVER what Uncharted has to offer. LoL, this is just rich.

I never thought of what he said about "outdoing" the competition with ratings. He might be right. I know we're all thinking to ourselves, 'Hey, that's childish and presposterous!'. Well, newsflash: Game journalism is big business now, just like the INDUSTRY itself. Similarly to how game devs are constantly trying to outdo one-another, as are the journalists. I think exclusive coverage does that better than reviews, but it's a thought.

This also brings me to the foolis...

lacks features(they're coming), poor support(lie).

Sorry, but I don't see how stable servers constitute poor support. If some of you folks are speaking about achievements, I'll give you that...but what else?

The way I look at it is like this. If I can play a game with a stable connection using my own name, download demos, games, etc. then it's not all bad. This isn't to say certain other features aren't desirable or useless, but as it stands, it's a stable, funct...
