Grass, fire and explosions look top notch..but that's where it ends. Roads, buildings, characters, vehicles, and any other surface for that matter, look meh.
If there's one thing I can't stand about a game is when a few areas look amazing and the rest doesn't measure up. That sort of inconsistency is horrendous, it's part of the reason why I'm a bit turned off towards Haze. Great looking characters and lighting...mediocre everything else. Uncharted got the consistent look right...
besides that's pretty underhanded. My condolences to new 360 users. I suppose this isn't too bad for those who have had a Silver membership for a while now, but what a crappy little tactic. Seriously, I personally don't think a week is that bad, but then why did MS even bother?

Treyarch is working on Bond 22 and another game at the moment, so I doubt they have the manpower and resources to juggle three games at once and be able to even pass beta testing.

Thank you for the civil response, but that mentality is like saying don't make sequels to games. Remember, the original version is included in this package intact, complete with updated visuals, so I really don't see where the harm is.
My point is that 99% of the people who are against the changes are only against it for the sake of being against it. I have yet to hear SPECIFICALLY why any of these changes will make the gameplay worse. SFII is not the bible, changing it is not ...
Make the game more competitive, yet easier to access. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Sad but true, the GP of the gaming community are indeed sheep. Madden sales are testament enough of that. All it takes is favorable reviews and/or a brand name and voila. People are hooked. It must be like fishing for some publishers.

Uncharted is a gorgeous game, but the shrubbery in it is so static. Drake clips through 95% of all the bushes, grass, and leaves within the game. It hurts the graphical integrity of an otherwise stunning game. Everything in Afrika moves and reacts from what I've seen.
Just adds more fuel to the fire. Dignify what MS said is all this is doing.
