This tripe got killed.
Someone has their panties in a nice, tight bunch.
You could cry the same way about any third party exclusive. Exclusives make the world go round. Buy another system or suck it the hell up.
It's good, the most fun I've had in months, but it certainly doesn't get EVERYTHING right.
Look to the various issues plaguing online MP for that.
whos ready to be the successor to the last once he's gone. Nasim was the last one, Kevin before him, and the list goes on and on.
File him away with the rest of trolls...for some reason they don't get banned around here.
take a look at Two Worlds as another example. The same folks that were saying it was supposed to dwarf Oblivion ended up disliking the game and tearing it to shreds.
That's the state of our tabloid gaming press these days. Hype generates hits, and we all love to see stuff go down in flames...
So one person gives reasons to supplement their points..and another uses insults and childish banter.
Who makes more sense?
Who really looks foolish here?
I wonder what you'll say...
as to whether VGChartz is viable or not?
I see PS3 trolls slinging mud when they're on top, and vice versa for the 360 side. Seems Wii fans are the most civil around here. Maybe they're the only ones playing their games.
I thought you were implying that threads literally equate to cores, but you're obviously more well-versed in the area than I am :)
multiple threads /= multiple cores...remember that the workload in that dual-threaded core is still being handled by a SINGLE CORE. If that logic held weight, we probably wouldn't have seen quad cores just yet.
People foam at the mouth whenever Killzone 2 shows an OLD screenshot for goodness sake. AW is in the same boat. The buzz will keep it alive until they decide to pick up on advertisement, which I imagine will be around 4 months or so before release.
These worst games of '07 submissions have come in spades...most directed at the same game...big surprise...
Have the last of your fun trolls, your day in the sun has passed. Your numbers, much like your tactics, are and have been steadily dwindling. May you rest in misery.
could possibly KNOW all of this? If you're easing anyone's pains then what you say must be official.
I won't say you're wrong...but until you have proof or official statements(even many of those are laced with BS), then you're not exactly correct either.
If anything, all of these bold declarations will only serve to disappoint you and others who believe it if the game turns out to be minimally better than what it is now. To achieve what they already have @ 1080p ...
A game shouldn't get a free pass on things on the assumption that it's successor will fix or alleviate some problems. If that were the case, we'd see a lot more games getting 10's(as if there weren't enough already).
If something isn't impressive, then it simply isn't impressive. Once you release a game to the wolves, whether it's a demo, "prologue", content, or whatever, then those who experience it have every right to judge the bloody thing.
Besides t...
but trolls will be trolls. Best not to feed them and give them the satisfaction. I do it all to often also.
My prayers have been answered. :)
Put it this way, if you haven't played a game, then you have no business claiming it as the biggest disappointment of the year. 3rd person opinions /= a good means to JUDGE something.
Why not state what was the biggest disappointment from games you actually played?
For me it's Warhawk. Did nothing well IMO, the whole package was very average save for the birds themselves.
A lesson in logic.
Popularity does NOT strengthen or back up an opinion. There's no amount of opinions that can override, nullify, or invalidate another. There's also no amount of supplementary opinions that can make yours any more valid or "correct" than those of another.
Pac-Man, Mario, Mega-Man, Duck Hunt, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Legend of Zelda LttP...this doesn't deserve much attention.
anything everyone doesn't already know.
This game is already turning into Killzone with the information reports...the same regurgitated crap time after time.
Give us something new or don't say anything.
to include things like physics, procedural animation, weight, interactive environments, more than brain-dead AI, visible and relevant body damage, fatigue, stamina, momentum, better hit/collision detection, non-canned hit reactions, fluidity, and more. I could go on for days.
Basically all the stuff that every and any other genre has enjoyed to further the experience. Fighters have been stuck in 1995 and it sickens me. This isn't even begging for innovation, this stuff has been...
