to Youtube the cutscenes from the first three. I did that, and pretty much got the jist of what's going on in the universe.
I'd still like to play the games, I'm just saying, this is one OPTION.
let alone fictional. There is no war. Each company has enough resources, money, and market penetration to at least finish out this generation. There is not much to worry about for any side. Each one will most likely have their off years and/or seasons, but each is ultimately in it for the long haul, and the competition only serves to benefit the consumer.
By the time it hits, the install base is likely to be near or over 20 mil. 5 million easy...
but having since played the game that long ago, I have always said that Starcraft is my favorite game ever.
I have always, and continue to be a console only gamer too, and this game has a death grip on me. I hope they deliver with the sequel.
and in fact it was directed towards everyone who takes this mentality that they need other people's approval, so to speak, to feel comfortable in their own skin.
Everyone, from xbox and ps3 fans alike, are perpetrators in this regard. I see people from all fanbases crying about others not enjoying things the same way they do, and they either dismiss those characters as payed off or ludicrous. If they do happen to agree, whether or not the reasons are CONTRIVED, then they're just ...
about what the so-called professionals think? If you love the game, why does it really matter?
Percents and scores aren't scientific Blademask, so there's no truth to this that should hurt your feelings.
Journalism for the most part sucks, sure, but don't let this trivial garbage get to you. Whether GT scored a 2 or a 9, it would still be the same GT that you supposedly love, right? WTF does 85 mean anyway? Does the simple number 85 tell you about the gameplay, graph...
and from the very beginning I've been extremely puzzled as to why people either aren't injecting money, resources, and technology into their research or USING what they've developed.
There's a big problem with such a statement.
Egotistical blowhards like Gabe Newell and Michael Bay know the problem very well. I call it getting a fat head because of name recognition. In the case of Newell and Bay, they both succumbed o making stupid statements because of their recognition in their respective communities...shooting off at the mouth, no matter how asinine or illogical, just because they had a chip on their shoulder.
I'm not saying Pachter will do it...
You're not impressed by numbers. Cool, we're all different, you're looking for a very solid gameplay foundation.
WHAT ARE YOU GONNA SAY -=*IF*=- Resistance 2 has that in spades as well? Really, what will be your argument then? Let's say you legitimately enjoy the game, despite it being on a console you despise made a company you loathe, what will you say then?
I'd love to know, but somehow I think you'd stick to the same attitude you've had for a couple years now, n...
Let the author say what they want. Doesn't change the fact that prices are dropping, games are being released, features are constantly added, and on the whole things are getting better.
Even if you manage to somehow believe that 10 million consoles in a year without a worldwide launch is somehow slow, it is at this point irrelevant, because the train has gone full steam at this point. Slow start or not, it wasn't the type of beginning that couldn't be recovered from, as evident w...
you've proven to be more verbose, defensive, biased, and illogical than the two people you condemn.
Here you are spouting nonsense that you can't prove, then you go on to tell a couple of people that their opinions are irrelevant, while the ones in this poll aren't. You automatically assume that the folks polled are unbiased, yet don't grant the same courtesy to anyone whose view doesn't fit into your agenda. So who's biased now? You had better either take everyones word for it, ...
Most of your cronies either got wise, left, or both...so what are you two doing?
Once again reminding us that you folks wear your insecurity on your sleeve, you condemn these games that you allegedly have ZERO interest in, as if you're trying to convince yourselves(I assure you that you're not convincing anyone else).
Don't you all know by now that the stupidity you spew falls on deaf ears? By now, well over two yeas into this gen, you surely must, yet you haven't mo...
Nobody related to Sony in any fashion has EVER said anything similar to what you just did. Where did you get the idea that PD would just release add-on content for Prologue as they went along?
Maybe I'm reading that wrong, but a big clue to why you're probably wrong is that the true resolution for Prologue isn't quite 1080p. It's not 16:9 anyway, I can't remember the exact resolution.
and I have both the GTHD and Japanese PSN Prologue demos.
When I say that, it's more of a compliment to PD, because if GT5 is a year away, then I EXPECT the graphics, physics, and content of the full version game to be better than this preliminary release we have now.
To suggest that the final game would be anything less or similar to Prologue somewhat baffles me.
Even though it's not a game(presumably), I wonder if this will become the next Killzone 2, from an internet buzz standpoint.
If this is legit, that engine better land in a bunch of people's laps QUICKLY.
Sony is just driving me nuts though. Some of their most ambitious projects, this, Killzone 2, The Getaway, GoW3, Team Ico, are all under such tight wraps, but everyone on "teh internetz" is just wild about them(myself included).
I'm tryin...
I just find the idea of paying $40 bucks for a less than half baked GT5 hard to stomach. It will have a fraction of the cars, maybe 3% of the content, and quite possibly inferior in the visuals and physics department.
I can't wait for this full version though. Never bought a wheel for a game before, but for this I'm considering it.
Because of course, we all know that Sony is the only company in the Blu-Ray disc association.
no bueno.
I must say, it's restoring my faith in the UE a little bit...I thought the engine was losing some steam.
This is just a big a jump, if not more, than Resistance 1 to Resistance 2.
That's great stuff, keeps folks competitive.
