That is quite possibly the stupidest comment I have ever read on the internet.
I do hope that, for your sake, you're either kidding or younger than...maybe seven years of age.
If zerglings are anything like they were before...they're dirt cheap. Why the hell would you make such a dangerous unit morph from the cheapest and most effective unit in the game? Beyond me...but we'll see.
about the score that another human being gives a game. Talk about being uncomfortable in your own skin.
I have to wonder, would you all be singing a different tune if Gamespot scores were INFLATED as opposed to DEFLATED? Somehow I don't think so, because too many here like to stroke themselves and be stroked by others.
But really, what is the moral difference between an inflated score versus a deflated one?
None, that's what, but I'd bet a dime to a doll...
...leave it to some dumb*ss with an editorial to try and tell us why we should care.
I'm not saying the issue doesn't exist. Fact of the matter is, Sony did something about it.
Whether or not you believe that it's satisfactory is up to you, HOWEVER, bringing it up again as if it's something that hasn't been addressed is just asinine.
I honestly wonder how some of t most foolish people out there either get jobs or manage websites. There needs to be some k...
These look fantastic though. For some reason, the Helghast don't look as good this time as they did in the '07 trailer. Maybe it's the lighting. Faces have improved DRAMATICALLY though, looks almost as good as MGS4 in that regard. Everything else looks to be shaping up quite nicely.
Some of you will just tell yourselves anything to make someone else sound crazy. Does that comfort the insecurity? I sure hope so...
Personally, I'm not a fan of ANY media outlet, but what the hell was so unreasonable about the variety critique? There's no two ways about it, he's absolutely right.
As stellar and slick as the game looks, every enemy in that three part demo has a machine gun, ducks for cover, and moves around every now and then. I saw one grenade throw...
but if one is creative enough, any threat an alien can pose can be replicated by a human. for hi-speed fliers, they could use Helghast with jetpacks or single-manned personnel carriers, similar to what the ISA have, but made for one man for increased mobility and a harder target.
The sky is the limit really. I'd be all for aliens, but it doesn't really fit the Killzone theme, the weapons they employ, although completely fictional, have very heavy design cues from modern weaponry....
If the enemies simply continue to rush the player and hide behind cover, it will get old fast, even if they flank you every now and then.
Enemies need to be given advantages as far as defilade, fortified positions, elevation, obstacle placement, and organic weaponry to name a few.
Other factors that are a must are fire teams and special groups, such as machine gun teams, demolitions experts, and different soldier groups with different load outs. Machine gun vs. machi...
If not the engine, then documentation, critical info about code, and any important things pertaining to, mark my words. Although I don't think that this game itself will look monumentally better before it's released...I do believe that the research going into this project will indeed be the catalyst for other unfinished and yet to be announced games to do just that.
I anticipate that Killzone 2 will be the turning point for the PS3.
I'll go for that, you're right.
Personally I had no doubts that they would have been able to complete the game by this Fall. I think that we can thank Resistance, SOCOM, and Little Big Planet for that.
Assuming that they continue on with the same work ethic and planning of the original schedule, all the work they put in after let's say...November is just icing on the cake for all of us.
What I want to see more than anything is beta footage. If this stuff is still pre-alpha, I'd like to know how man...
Sure, you're WITNESSING all of this stuff, but have you played the final product? Nope. That's all I'm saying. I agree that as of right now, from a graphical standpoint, it looks better than anything out and to be released within the next year or so. The difference between you and I is that I'm not about to go around making bold statements saying that they're better than everyone else.
A key factor that you're conveniently forgetting is that this game is HEAVILY outsourced, and a...
particularly since other studios have been hard at work cranking out good and impressive games that are available RIGHT NOW, yet here you are heralding this unreleased game as the second coming.
We all want the game to be d*mn near perfect, but until a hard copy is in your hands, you can't make such a claim.
That's a bunch of crap. Hey NoUseMerc, figure out a more creative and less dishonest way to get hits to your site. Way to blatantly damage your own rep and credibility.
At best, this should go in the original Gametrailers posting as an alternate source. Reported.
This, GT5, and FFXIII are my top three for '09, but it's not like we haven't seen the press build something up just to tear it down before.
I certainly hope this game is great, but all I'm saying is to try not to let media outlets swell your heads about this one.
People are sheep and if you shove something down their throats enough times, they'll begin to passively accept it, and eventually come to defend it.
If you don't believe that, then you obviously haven't been on this site long enough to witness the disillusioned fanboys on all the different sides here, and that's just a mild example.
If Sony or Microsoft said that their consoles were made from cheese, some folks here would believe it AND brag about it to the other sid...
People who get paid will say anything to comfort their bosses, shareholders, current and POTENTIAL fanbase. That's all this is. He is most certainly aware of how foolish this sounds, but every sucker he convinces with this tripe is one more sucker's money he's got, it's as simple as that.
If I was selling p*ss in a bottle and I convinced 25 people that it was better for you than water, then that's 25 more sales than I had before.
this game looks slick, very cool art style and setting, and the graphical fidelity is very detailed to boot, which is pretty shocking for an MMO. Also good to know that you're apparently not required to be in first-person the entire time.
I think several different factions would be a better idea though...the 1v1 thing I don't think would work too well. I think there should be between 3 and 5 spy agencies in a power struggle, because with this, if one spy isn't your friend, you au...
but although the comment was foolish, Jamaicans aren't exactly angels. They are among the most brutally violent and politically fanatical people on this earth. My mother used to call the place the murder capital of the world. It ain't all Reggae, parties, beaches, smiles and marijuana as many people would think. I'm Jamaican by the way, so before anyone goes off on some "You're just a bigot!" tirade...think about that.
but this needs to be said.
This kind of thing really damages the credibility...or sanity, maybe BOTH, of Itagaki saying that the 360 is the most powerful system.
Yeah, I know the PS3 has had issues like these before, so no I'm not insinuating that PS3 is teh GODZ ir anything like that...but the man isn't really making a case for his game pushing technical limits when it doesn't even run in HD.
