You clearly have zero knowledge of what actual objectification is. Please do not attempt to speak for the people who have actually been treated like a piece of meat and used strictly for their bodies.
I'll repeat what I said above, if you release your product for sale before it is released, you deserve all the damn negative criticism and judgement you get. Stop defending early access.
@SuckxITxEZ
More like putting your soup for sale while you're still making the broth and telling people to test it. Then getting upset when they tell you it sucks ass. When are we going to realize food analogies are stupid?
If you charge for your product before you release it, it deserves all the judgement it gets.
Ark generally looks terrible because of the character models and animal models. The models are absolutely disgusting. I have no idea who okay'd those player models, but it was a horrible idea. Everything I've seen regarding the player models looks mediocre at best. Armor and clothing is just awful. I guess weapons pass, but they're just generic weapon designs. And they're just a miss mash of weird looking objects all thrown together with dinosaurs and a dragon. This guy is a p...
Simply put, they shouldn't have made supers as the only method of "killing" enemy fighters. Terrible gameplay decision that makes balancing characters infinitely more difficult. It introduced a terrible meta which ruined the game's potential.
Yes, it's going to be a gimmick. It won't stop being a gimmick until VR becomes as natural as sitting on your couch and watching TV. Granted, it's a gimmick that works. It's still a gimmick, and no amount of stamping your foot like a child will change that.
Resolution is very important. Resolution is the difference between staring at a beautiful crisp image and a small blurry little window. The same can be said for FPS. You either have the option of a slide show with missing animations, missing frames, that looks awkward or a beautiful smooth experience that reacts precisely to your input and looks great on the eyes.
You think content is what causes terrible frame rate and resolution? No, it doesn't work like that. Graphical...
4/10 doesn't mean broken or buggy. 4/10 means a below average in quality game. Just because the game looks phenomenal doesn't mean it DESERVES something higher than average. Especially when the gameplay and story were below that.
You people seriously need to learn proper review scores.
@Sereal_Killer
Elite suffers from the same design flaws that No Man's Sky will suffer from. And no, it's not really a simulator. It has simulator aspects, but there are 100% arcade flight controls in Mouse and keyboard. Also the game is on Xbox One.
So then why don't you play Elite: Dangerous? That game has billions of stars to explore. You can explore the entire milky way. It was all procedurally generated, just like No Man's Sky. And wouldn't you believe it, aside from the really crazy fanboys, most people playing it are bored from the lack of cohesion in its content. Being able to explore thousands of light years away didn't help make the game better.
It's not Sony Exclusive.
Not only hype, but the developers actively don't show off features. The lead has said there are features such as trading, factions, crafting, dog fighting, etc. So far they've shown quick jumps to a couple planets and then shooting the local fauna. They haven't shown off the trading, they haven't shown off major amounts of combat. The game comes out in less than a year and red flags should be popping up that they haven't shown off this content.
And then t...
"The PS4 would be a different machine"
What? No it wouldn't. You think companies like Sony do years of R&D towards hardware to only change it last minute for a couple people on the internet? The only thing Microsoft acted upon was the reaction to the software requirements (aka always online). That's much different than completely changing up your hardware scheme because "lol gamers"
Nothing about games?
I don't know what catsuits has to do with it, but you posted a render with absolutely horrible artstyle, terrible quality textures, and light sources that make zero sense. Overall it just doesn't look good. At least the other render makes Mario and Bowser look decent. The rest is just ass. It reminds me of that Mario in Crytek engine demo. Sure, it has high fidelity graphics, but it has zero style which makes it look worse.
That first render looks like complete ass. Why the hell would you want that?
Save for being dirt cheap or near free, it doesn't matter what they price it. The market just isn't there on consoles. Not yet.
I would argue that the point and click titles involve more work as they have actual puzzles in them. Whereas the Tell Tale Games that I have seen are on the level of the DVD extras that used to come with kids movies. Pick a dialogue option and the scene moves forward. Whether or not people consider that a proper game is up to them.
Catridges != flash memory. Flash memory is already used in the 3DS. Loading times would be immensely faster. The only downside is the slightly higher production cost of the chip. If you don't know what you are talking about, please do not make such insane comments.

A five pack of blank bluray disks cost 12 dollars from Best Buy (I'm using this as a reference, not as a fact). If we assume that bluray costs that much for the consumer versus the ...
Both of these. I have no interest in seeing anything more by Bethesda. Not after how butchered Skyrim and Fallout 4 were.
