Have you been under a rock the last half decade? A beta is merely a stress test of their servers. A game being released in a month would not give stress testers a build that is from months ago, that would be idiotic.
It's not a gimmick, but I will say the same thing I'm saying to everyone. It's not mainstream ready, at all. That's what Sony doesn't understand and the people on this website do not understand. Oculus definitely knows that, especially with that pre-order price.
I presume it would make little difference, if any. Many people who pirate do so because it's free. Take away the free and they just won't play it. Simple.

Mainstream will only happen when wearing VR is not cumbersome. Whether that is Oculus, PS VR or Vive, they will never be at that point until they are as light as glasses.

It doesn't work that way. Also Gwyndolin isn't a transvestite. Gwyndolin was a boy that was raised as a girl. Still a boy, just dresses like a girl. This is because of his affinity to the moon and Gwyn raising him that way.
Unfortunately this was the case with Souls 2. No idea what they were thinking with that game.
There is no way to approach it differently. The best voice gets the job. It is irrelevant what skin color you are when you are dubbing voice work. Darth Vader's actor is a white guy, but of course we all know the incredibly powerful voice of James Earl Jones.
Overrate and then underrate something else that doesn't deserve it. Very inconsistent website, even among their own different reviewers. And then they have reviewers that blatantly ignore massive flaws (Fallout 4) while condemning other games for having them.
Naughty Dog has said they are beyond "the childish" nature of the crash series. I don't want them to lay a finger on it if Sony somehow DOES get Crash back. Clearly they do not care about Crash or Jak And Daxter any longer.
Good thing for AMD until they mess it up again somehow. They really need to step up their driver/software support. Some users of E:D were having BSODs when performing a function that you have to perform throughout the game. The cause of this BSOD was AMD CPUs.

God of War? The Last of Us? I'm not saying it's not crappy what Nintendo is doing with this one, but don't try to paint sony in some better light.
Twilight Princess generally looked mediocre. The color tones they used throughout the game is directly responsible for this. If they would have used some different colors for their environments, the game would have been much much prettier. Graphically, it looks fine. Just those damn colors.
