@Johndoe
Are you joking? There are an immeasurable amount of Vita owners that are upset with the way Sony has treated the system. Get the hell out of there with that nonsense. The support the Vita received is nowhere near the level that the PSP did and it's down to the most prominent vita exclusives now getting released on PS4, Gravity Rush 2 for example.
@Crazyclown
Are you not capable of understanding that the headset itself PLUS an extra unit capable of making that headset even run at minimum specs on the PS4 will cost a pretty penny. Do you honestly think that Sony will be able to price that cheap without making severe losses?
@Palitera
Generally the idea that someone will start paying money for something when they haven't done so already is naive.
"yet criticize everything as if they know all there is to know"
I would argue that reviewers don't actually criticize enough, and what they do criticize is pointless. Like Adam Sessler and that bros before hoes garbage. Meanwhile reviewers are throwing out 10s for games like Fallout which crash multiple times in the first hour, look terrible, have mediocre story, etc.
The developer's have promised a lot. They've promised dog fighting, trading, exploration, etc. So far they've shown off carefully selected planets in which they've landed and shot the local wildlife. They haven't shown off any of the trading or ships or anything else. The title releases this year.
They've worked on Joe Danger games. Quite a bit different than what they're attempting now.
"A generation behind power wise"
The Playstation 4 and Xbox One aren't doing much better power wise, this point is moot. Until they can start outputting games that not only look halfway decent but also run at a frame rate and resolution that aren't ass, this comment will always make me laugh.
"Voice chat...etc"
Sure. Not really necessary though in these types of games. Party features would be much better. Proper on...
"ass on my couch gaming experience"
Isn't that what the WiiU is? I don't even own the console, but from my use with it, you could plant your ass wherever the hell you want with that screen.
"Modernize"
Please, no. If modernization means having Mario: Shooter edition you may as well kill the company (hyperbole of course). It's bad enough we have the Treehouse consisting of "modern" people who make terrible translations while feeling the need to censor whatever they see fit. Now you want to apply that to the top brass, no thanks.
"Give us a next gen experience with some power"
I'm honestly still waiting for that next gen experience. I see all these comments about "Please give us power, just like our PS4s and Xbox ones!" and I wonder just how mediocre that power would be, judging by how the consoles are playing as is. Also, I always find it funny when people comment saying "everyone is telling Nintendo what they would like" when all they would really like is another xb...
Why the hell wouldn't you buy a car in 95? Maybe because that's what you can afford right now? Maybe it gets good gas mileage? Hipster vintage? Do you think cars were invented in the 90s?
There are airport radio towers still running off of Win 95. If it ain't broke, why fix it?
"Just like the yearly Iphones and high-end android devices"
Do you understand the comparisons you make? You're comparing an accessory to PCs/Consoles/Video games to something people use in their every day lives. Something that people have their entire lives stored on, that they use for their businesses. Virtual Reality will some day be a cool accessory for gaming, but that's all it will ever be. Maybe far in the future when they are no longer cumbersome devi...
Wait, VR isn't a gimmick because it works, but motion controls are a gimmick even though they work?
@jujubee88
VR can run on my Galaxy S5. But because the DPI of the screen isn't that great and it only outputs at 30hz frequency, I received horrible headaches after using it for half an hour. There needs to be a specific standard for VR to work and not legitimately hurt people and the hardware you're describing is not it.
Not when the game is as mindless and casual as it is, no.
So he didn't beat the game by not killing anyone. He beat it by having others kill people. The title makes it sound like a complete pacifist run. Didn't think Fallout 4 allowed that and it seems I was correct.
Some of us have been waiting for the Battlefront series sequel for a decade. So maybe with that bit of information you can understand why it's the most disappointing of 2015. To me however, it's my personal most disappointing game of all time. Last title to have that was Bioshock Infinite.
"Who'd really thought that this was going to be more than ANOTHER mindless FPS"
Somewhere in the back of my mind I had hoped Dice would be able to deliver a proper title and not what they actually did.
That's like saying "Seeing as how Xbox 4 and Playstation 5 are coming soon why bother".
