No, you don't believe better opportunities can be made elsewhere. You just typically troll nintendo articles.
Apparently lots of people as a stupid amount of people purchased Battlefront on consoles and 6.3 million people played the Division beta. Not to mention Assassins Creed which keeps selling every year, among titles like battlefield.
@Battleaxe
Oh man, critically acclaimed game that didn't even debut on their platform? That means they should be rushing to put a dev kit in their palm of their hands!
It's not overpriced, it's expensive. People weren't expecting this expense, I'm sure.
This. The one movie I saw her in she had at most two lines and they were delivered terribly. She should stick to getting her ass kicked in MMA.
"That said, any score ranging between 1-6 out of 10 for this game is unreasonable. And the majority of low scores are supposedly justified by agenda driven individuals."
What a joke. Glad to see you're simply dismissing all criticism as agenda driven now.
Except, you can tell the difference. The difference is very pronounced. I've gotten so used to playing at above 60 frames per second that the moment it drops just 1 FPS below that I immediately notice it.
No thank you. Enough with Skyrim and Fallout. Both series (Fallout and Elder Scrolls) have turned to crap thanks to Bethesda. We've already gotten one mediocre Metroid game, the last thing we need is another mediocre one because they copied the mediocrity of two game series.
@Abriael
Evolution for the sake of evolution is not always good. You have a formula which is near perfect, you do not want it to evolve, you want it to expand and become the best IT can be. Not become something that it isn't. I'll never understand those of you that think everything has to evolve and change for no apparent reason. Not to mention, you are attempting to apply your preferences to an established series, so you are the one that is in the wrong here.
You realize that making the game engine for a specific game is part of that development time, yes?
Thanks to the way the voice actor unions work, many of them have to be payed more simply because of the amount of times they may have worked with a studio/company.
If you can't get into Elite: Dangerous, why do you expect to get into No Man's Sky? They're essentially the same, just No Man's Sky will be more "Feature complete". Granted, that's not saying much as the NMS developers STILL have not shown off half the features they're promising.
"1.5 is a scam"
Or it's someone severely disappointed by a main title series game. Not only this but I'm finding it funny that you're saying the game can go no lower than 7. Who are you to decide what ultimate score it gets?
"How is that not in good faith"
Oh, I don't know. The fact that you are forced into making the decision of blowing 30 dollars now without even getting content or waiting until you know the content is good (and available) and then spending even more money. Is this that difficult of a concept to comprehend?
@Pongwater
If you do not buy it now for cheaper, you can only buy it later when it is more expensive. That is effectively forcing the user into a decision: wait until they know that it is worth it and purchase at the higher price or blow 30 dollars right now with the hope that it will be worth it.
Terrifying that there are people actually defending this practice.
Rose tinted glasses and nostalgia are entirely mental. If you can go back and still enjoy a game despite its age, that completely eliminates that notion. I believe many people could admit that there are those games that they went back to play and they left them thinking "well, I remember this being better".
Super Mario 64 is still considered one of the best platformers of all time. I still go back and play the old games, whether on emulator or the system itself. Especially gems like Ape Escape.
Telling someone "you better buy it now before we increase the price!" is not in good faith and is plenty of reason for people to complain. Irrelevant of how much "more content" they claim they may be adding. Far as we're aware, the current content offered by the season pass isn't even worth 30 dollars, let alone the rest being worth AN EXTRA 30 dollars. Stop supporting bad business practices. Gotta say gamers truly are pathetic at times.
@Sullynathan
The game is pretty much trash. Like Eamon said, if this game didn't have the Star Wars name/skin to it, it would have failed over night. Similar to Evolve.
I think that should be a priority, to reach 60 FPS at least. Once you get used to it anything lower is difficult to play at and takes too much time to adjust to.
