Ummmm...I actually own a Wii and had a Gamecube and N64. I like Nintendo fine. The games that have been released on the Wii are largely crap. It doesn't matter how well it has sold or how much crap has sold, it is still very shallow gameplay experience.
This isn't about bashing the Wii...it's about bashing the crappy games being made for it.
I was looking forward to this game, but the videos and the reviews aren't showing the fun I expected. If it is also frustrating then forget it. I've got too many other games to finish before I try this anyway, and I don't need frustration.
May get it when it is bargain bin fodder, or rent it.
I'm with you. Stuff digital distribution only. I still want hard copy. It won't work in Australia or many other places in the world anyway: http://oxcgn.com/2008/06/22...
It's also responsible for 99% of crappy games...
I was surveyed over a year ago over the same things, after I bought a 2000. Nothing really new and they didn't listen to my suggestions for the 3000 anyway!
It does, doesn't it.
Well there's one NPC near the helicopter that looks like he's just a statue...he'd not be much help!
Please no.
Okay...no flashbangs. Smoke grenades?
The place seems to have an arcade area, but not sure if they have COD4 on lan....
Monkey Island was awesome. So was Broken Sword later. I hope we get more of these fun, story-based, clever adventure games.
They seemed to have died off.
I wonder if we could use flashbangs too...
Yeah imagine: no lag....except if you were out of shape like me...
Please please Thief 4!!!!
Some we know will get announced, but there are some good ones there.
That's so much more cool than just doing it in a forest all the time...
I don't think the economy will have a big impact on games sales...maybe the more expensive consoles will suffer (ahem PS3), but maybe not.
It seems that it is the companies themselves who are cutting down or going under.
Sales for games is pretty good and I expect most home entertainment to be similar as people go out less and look for cheaper long lasting entertainment (like gaming).
The problem is that crapware sells....I read recently that Kung Fu Panda sold more on 360 than Mass Effect....
He says: "Hell, even with three people, most maps today are meant for upwards of sixteen, so you have a lot of ground to cover, a lot of cover to look behind, and a lot of wasted ammo."
Easy solution: Gears 2 had BOTS. Pretty cool ones too....
It isn't inevitable at all that split-screen goes...it's just the focus this gen wants to have on getting us online and buying more copies so there's more profit generally being made. The thing is that it fuels the ...
I'd rather play split screen with mates anytime over the online mess we have to deal with in Australia with lag, idiots, and lack of games on older titles because people have moved on to newer more exciting options.
Split-screen is still a must imo and titles like Quantum of Solace that ignore that will just see their online game die out. Look at Gears 2 which has both bots and split screen. Or any of the CODs. It can and should be done. Enough of the graphics or whatever els...
I still like arcady racers, but then I generally suck at them...I just wish fun racing games like Pure had split screen multi!
